This is a time lapse making of the White Dragon head from DragonLance. It was made with paper and cloth mache with some air dry clay.

Hi there ! I really admire your work and I'm making an articulated one. I'm asking myself : what kind of material do you use for the "skin" ? It is white et looks like plaster bands...Am I wrong ?

It is an old bed sheet cut up and dipped in elmers glue. I also use shop towels dipped in glue also.

nice work! where did you get your eyes? did you make them yourself or get them from a taxidermist?

I did buddy, I must say.. quite a bit of detail, and excellent work! Does extra clay weigh it down? Let me guess: horns, horn sockets, spikes are all clay?

what is the liquid that you use to make the papper become hard?

you can either use elmers glue or a 50/50 mix of flour and water. Just google how to make paper mache there is a recipe out there for it.

The scales are made with paper mache clay and I covered the horns with air dry clay. I dont make it I bought it, it doesnt cost too much.
