Rog your love for our club, and town,and people, and the way you articulate it , is a win thing to behold. There's times when I think we're no different to any other club , and fundamentally I think that's the case, in terms of players lives and stories. But what sets us apart is the North Wales thing. Other elements, the history of the ground for example all contribute to the uniqueness of the club. It's great to have you onboard, and well done lads getting Roger on .UTT

The abuse dumped on Jess Fishlock last week bears comparison with the disproportionate, misogynistic attack on Rosie. She blundered on camera, but the subsequent witch hunt would never have been so patronizing or demonizing had, say, Jordan Davies fluffed his lines. Rosie's obvious error feels negligible when set alongside what is measurably hateful and sexist. In the end, those wanting to condemn Rosie are saying nothing accurate about her and everything about their own pathologies. Blundering aside, Rosie happens to love Wrexham and Wales and that's all that matters.

Somebody needs to explain to me what Rosie said that was taken as derogatory. As a guy from a small timber/logging town we would have embraced it. Had no idea folks from a rough and tumble mining town would not embrace it.

I can't find an infant or kids kit as a unit on the Wrexham site, and that could well be the issue. Birmingham City Junior home jersey is 45 pounds, and I think the same size Wrexham jersey is the middle price at 50 pounds. A complete kid's kit at the Birmingham City store would cost 82 pounds if you buy shirt, short and socks separately in kids size, BUT they have a complete kid's kit is 55 pounds, and infant kit for 50. If Wrexham added complete infant and kid's kits at that price, it would fix a lot of that issue.

For the drama of the Doco, a fight for a playoff spot, falling short the last game or two, or even better snaring the last playoff spot and winning through the semi-final to lose at Wembley is plenty of drama for the Doco to get the Season Five go-ahead ... good drama can't have winning ever time.

Glad to see the comments here about Rosie are not bashing her. What she said was bad, but the pile on was appalling. I like him, but did not appreciate, at all, James McClean's IG post. 1-Whenever someone calls themselves humble, I take note that they are not. 2-He dragged the entire men's team into his comment with the picture. 3-Kicking a fellow Wrexham player when down and legitimizing the pile on. He's a very popular player and used it in the wrong way. 4-Hypocrisy. McClean said on that same red carpet that he would never have the same opportunities in his hometown. Should Derry be dragging him? No. 5-Punching down. The women's game has catch up on development and popularity in UK because banned for 50 years. So, to have a popular men's player weighing in to take a swipe, was discouraging. I didn’t see him at the women's game that almost all his male teammates attended in LA, before any of this happened. That communicated that it wasn't worth his time. Not captain's behavior.

Rosie didn’t visit East LA. She’s seeing the shiny side of the penny. Trust me, LA as a whole is a shit hole

On Rosiegate. The problem isn’t what Rosie said. The problem is that Wrexham fans have been shown to include a large bunch of misogynistic bullies. And that Wrexham might not be ready to play on the world stage. It’s proven that it can’t take a small knock without overreacting. It’s all enormously disappointing.

I'd rather Rosie speak from the heart and off the cuff than to view Wrexham through a Disney princess filter. Wrexham won't improve unless people are willing to acknowledge its shortcomings.

Rosie is a fucking prison guard. She sees the worst of Wrexham in terms of people on a daily basis. Thats her perspective and it’s completely understandable. Why this is an issue says more to me about the people commenting about it than what it says about Rosie. People need to calm the fuck down and get a life. Move on, there is nothing to see here.

You think all the people in the prison in wrexham are actually from wrexham?😂
@reneeb.83514 ай бұрын
@@spongeknock7387 you think the people in prison in the Wrexham prison are only people from out of town outside of Wrexham? You’re missing the point so badly and he’s right. Your comments about her reflect more about you your prejudices and your biases that it does on her. And if this is what the town of Wrexham is like, people like you makes me question my support not just of the club. But of the town as we are supporting Wrexham because it’s welcoming, understanding and supportive not just the team badge of the actual players. The comments coming out of Wrexham about Rosie are so disgusting and exaggerated it’s concerning

@@reneeb.8351 As with everywhere, it's ALWAYS the mouthy mofo's who make the most noise. As you can see from the lads' comments on here, it's been blown out of all proportion. Most 'normal' people from Wxm have either just shrugged their shoulders over her comments - or have even said she's got a point, but either way, it was just an off the cuff remark....nothing more. Social Media is a cess pit!

Rosie isn’t even from Wrexham, shes from colwyn bay. She only works in Wrexham prison. Do people seriously think Wrexham prison is just for people from Wrexham? It holds people from many miles away from Wrexham. Maybe she should go play for Rhyl it will be a lot closer to home for her😂
@reneeb.83514 ай бұрын
So you wanna lose one of our best players? The person who single-handedly made 100 goals to promote the women’s team for what? I’m starting to think Wrexham may be just full of snobs and our support from America isn’t going to town right town. Working class and you talk about her like this over a silly comment? Talk about out of touch with reality. Maybe the people in town are getting a little too big for their britches.

@@spongeknock7387 Rosie fits her boots just fine. It was an offhanded common and a joke and the fact that it’s affecting you to this degree shows how fragile you are. You really need to take a deep look at yourself and figure out why you’re so unhappy and directing it at her over literally, nothing. When people see Rosie, they see an amazing athlete. That is a great example of confidence. Dedication hard work. I seriously doubt people can say the same thing about you and I 100% believe that if she were a male, you would’ve laughed about it.

@@spongeknock7387 You do realize they were playing American women players, right? America has the strongest female football system in the world. While it was still technically against the rules for women to play football in the UK, the US passed a law requiring any school with boys sports to provide funding for girls sports. As a result softball and women's football got a huge financial shot in the arm. There is a reason the US is the Brazil of Women's football.
