I've worked with these types of lights on boats and they are a nightmare to install and an even greater nightmare to remove when you need to change the bulb. If one of the spring arms doesn't break during installation, one will break during removal. This seems like a great idea and I hope it works well for him. As for Deborah, she obviously buys extremely expensive LED bulbs. Cheap ones tend not to last very long. Always wonderful to hear English accent mixed with Amritsari accent. just waiting to hear some English in Haryanvi accent now.

Certainly, is the only accent that I love hear in English, I am not native tongue in English, but this is a good one, of a very well educated Professor.

Nearly every product I purchase (if not all of them) says it's manufactured by them. It's almost always manufactured in China on behalf of them. Why are the dragons acting like this is bizarre?

I thought it was a brilliant idea. Nice and easy to put them in your ceiling and get the bulbs out with out huge problems

1:35 I'm not an electrician, but I tried to install a lamp like that (but smaller): I took some time to understand how to do it properly. You have to force two springs while inserting the lamp into a hole. While you're almost there, the tendency is to stop holding the springs. Using the hole to force the springs might damage the ceiling or the lamp.

Wouldn't comment usually but MAN, their excuses were so awful.. Plasterboard? If it can stand a tension of a metal spring it would definitely stand an elastic rubber. The other went about manufacturing!? just correct it, it doesn't make the product itself bad. I think the product is genius and with little effort of marketing it would've been a great one. Honestly, their loss. In both, product and entrepreneur.

Nick, why harp on the word manufacture? Would you invest if he dropped the word?
@rvishnevski54094 жыл бұрын
If they manufactured, that measn he has a factory, a factory is 10 times more investable. It's like buying apples from china and shipping them to UK vs having a acres of apple branch in UK.

Nick had a bee in his bonnet about this product right from the off. Notice how he chirps away at every little thing and even vociferously approves other Dragons' critiques. Faintly pathetic

I have installed about 1000 down lights and yes, you need a clamp. You need a sandwiching pressure to eliminate gaps, especially on a substrate like drywall.
