You can see in Duncan’s eyes he has respect for these lads, as they’re on the journey he went on himself. I’m going through a journey like that myself at the moment too, 15 years ago I was earning £10,000 a year in full time work in Stoke. Now I’m 3 months into my own business and I’ve cleared AU$55k in profit whilst living in Australia. It takes balls to work for yourself and the risk can be massive. Big respect to these lads.

@rory clynes yes it's true. He was worth £ 430m before the divorce and after the divorce was said and done his net worth fell to £ 85m, so his wife took £ 345m. I still don't understand how that was fair..but I guess she really was the golddigger he called her out to be. Anyways, he's a businessman through and through and has built his empire up again, adding another £ 200m to his net worth over the last 8 or 9 years.

These guys just need a bit of help in accounting and the right expertise. The Dragons' have invested in so many crappy business deals before and yet when everything is all lined up and straightforward you get this. These guys deserved better IMO. Accordingly, his conditional refund of 15% is worth zero. Duncan's offer was not only better, but also more honest. Shame on you, James!
