Planting trees is just another form of green washing, in my opinion. I need a lot more information to decide if it's good or not. Where do you plant the trees? In what part of the world? What kind of trees do you plant? Native/non-native? How valuable is the biotope you're creating for local biodiversity? What is currently growing where you plant the trees? How will the trees affect local communities? Because trees are not always good for the environment. In temperate and boreal regions, grassland is in many ways better, both for biodiversity and climate.
@doghat161911 ай бұрын
yeah that's my issue with 99% of "sustainable" brands, sustainable really is just a word people use these days to sound good, the vast majority of brands that use it don't actually consider all the environmental challenges, nor come up with good plans to help the environment.

Yet another pitch where we never get to hear what the business actually physically does. How many people does it employ and what do they spend time on typical day? Does it own or rent any significant premises or equipment? They sell a product for £130 and it costs them £23. What do they do to it in between to add value? How much of that £107 margin goes to the business running costs (what are they) and how much goes to profit?
