Drake Bell, known for his role as a child star, is now speaking up about something serious for the first time: the S A he faced when he was just 15 years old. He's bravely sharing his story on an upcoming TV series called "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," which is scheduled to air on March 17 and 18.
In the documentary, Drake Bell reveals that he was abused by Brian Peck, who worked as a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon's shows like "All That" and "The Amanda Show." Bell was part of "The Amanda Show" cast from 1999 to 2002, and later starred in his own Nickelodeon series, "Drake & Josh," which began in 2004.
Peck faced serious legal trouble when he was arrested in August 2003 on 11 charges linked to accusations of S A involving an unnamed child. In May 2004, Peck pleaded no contest to engaging in a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16. As a result, he was sentenced to 16 months in prison and was required to register as an offender in October 2004.
For more than 20 years, Drake Bell kept his identity hidden as the minor involved in that case.

Turns out the case against Drake that happened with the teen, was dropped due to lack of evidence. Yeah the teen was just playing victim cards, and blaming someone who was just doing his tours and P.O.V backstage meet n greets and nothing else. Drake bell has been abused as a child, but that would never cause someone to do the same thing due to how traumatic the situation is in their lifetime. Dan Schneider should’ve been in jail for the rest of his life, and not roam free preying on children. Drake Bell is innocent.

Abuse can absolutely result in the victim doing the same thing to another person. That's why it's called a cycle of abuse. I'm saying Drake is or isn't innocent, but don't say that being traumatized would mean he would never hurt someone. In most cases of abuse, the abuser was once a victim. Example, my great grandfather was ashamed of being mixed race during a time where it could literally get you killed if anyone even knew. He took it out on my grandfather and abused him until he ran away as a teenager. My grandfather was the type to use a belt to discipline, not caring where it hit you or if it left welts. My father has had to fight to keep that cycle from continuing. He'd go outside and punch trees to get out the anger he was taught. I can't say the same for his sister, my aunt. I don't know how bad it was when I wasn't around, but what I did see made it no surprise when her kids begged to go live with their dad.

At 4 in 1999 I already could tell, Disney shows and Nick shows had really dark undertones. I could tell the actors and actresses that were children were being abused… as I grew up I just kept seeing it grow more and more darker and darker. I never found the shows funny or entertaining, more annoying than anything. It's not really related to this video and, although I am happy Bell is speaking out, I want people to consider something. Both Armie Hammer and Drake Bell have been labeled as sex offenders online when in fact, they didn't really physically do anything to be labeled as such. Drake flirted with an underaged fan through text messages, however, the moment he found out the individual's age, he cut off contact. She then began stalking him and accused him in court of things that there was no evidence of. Those very serious accusations were dismissed but he ended up being charged for the explicit texts. As for Armie Hammer, who has been labeled a cannibal, was in a physical relationship with a women while already married to another. Hammer also sent kinky text messages where he would say some messed up things such as "I am going to eat you", I am going to drink your blood" "I want you to call me master", and lastly, " You belong to me". Although they can be seen as disturbing to some, at the end of the day, they've officially been dismissed in court as sexual fantasies where nothing of the sort happened. Both these incidents appear to have been carefully orchestrated by some very vindictive people and, although I don't believe that both Bell and Hammer are angels, I simply don't believe they committed the crimes they've been accused of. Same situation as actor Vic Mignonia.

Having had close family work in Hollywood, as I’ve heard, this was a common occurrence for many years. Although I can’t say much for Nickelodeon, Universal and Sony had many underlying problems with subtle Sexual Assault and Harassment on set with many well known tv shows that were simply swept under the carpet as to not cause controversy.

I'm not gonna defend Drake on the text messages nor the ex girlfriend allegations in the past, but as so far for his case, he was never convicted of SA nor did he sent explicit material as these claims were proven false by witnesses and digital forensics which took about 2-3 years to investigate the claims fully. Text messages and the endangerment charge (the accuser was entering his concerts that were only for 18 and up, which he got charged for not being aware of as it she was surrounded by numerous adults which partook in violating his "duty of care") were the only things he plead guilty too. Just stating the facts here As for what happened to him more than 2 decades ago, it's very sickening to what Brain Peck did to him and how much damage it did to Drake.

Ok, summary of the video. From speaking out against nickelodeon it flips the coin to all the domestic violence of Drake Bell againts his ex's. Also texting a minor and then saying "I didn't knew her real age" and "that is not what happened" with several victim versions... So sad he decided the path of hurting others like he was hurt.
