"The Heart Part 6" is a diss track by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on May 5, 2024, during his ongoing feud with the American rapper Kendrick Lamar. It is a response to Lamar's "Not Like Us" and "Meet the Grahams". It's title is a reference is Kendrick Lamar's "The Heart" series of songs.
"The Heart Part 6" received generally negative reviews from critics and fans.
The title is a reference to Lamar's "The Heart" song series, which has lasted for over a decade as of 2024, since it started in April 2010.
When "Meet the Grahams" was released onto streaming platforms, the original artwork was replaced with a plain black square, though this was possibly due to Apple Music and Spotify guidelines prohibiting the sharing of personal information, as with the pill bottles in the original artwork, as well as the display of brands or advertisements on cover art. The song samples "Prove It" by Aretha Franklin, specifically the line: "Now let me see you prove it / Just let me see you prove it."
Candace McDuffie of The Root called the song a "cringy response" in which Drake's lyrics come off as a confession to Lamar's pedophilia accusations, and found his disses towards Lamar contradictory and nonsensical.
"The Heart Part 6" garnered generally negative reactions from fans and critics alike. As of May 7, 2024, the song has over 938,000 dislikes and under 640,000 likes on KZbin even though dislikes have not been pubically visable on KZbin videos without additional sofrware since November 2021.
