It’s extremely suspect. The only motion she ruled on from the bench was the motion by the defense asking her to recuse herself. Every other motion she submitted her ruling after the fact, not that one. I mean, I think it’s stupid that the judge being asked to recuse themselves gets to make the ruling, but what do I know!! What’s rather interesting is the fact that back in the 90’s, Chris Albert was driving drunk, got into a car accident, killed someone. Auntie Bev’s brother was his attorney. Chris got a ridiculously low sentence for vehicular manslaughter. I don’t remember exactly what it was - maybe 6-12 months in jail and 2 years probation…….that could be wrong but it wasn’t much worse. But there’s no conflict. 🙄

Sean Albert calls the judge Aunt Bev. Her brother represented Brian Albert who went to prison for DUI. Bev and prosecutor Lally grew up in same town, they knew each other. Bev owns a seaside home, near the Albert family. They share the same beach. She should have recused herself from the case!

Brian Higgins testified he was parked in front of the mailbox & left 34 Fairview @ 1:30 am to go do administrative work at the Canton police station. Fact - This means he would have had to walk right by where Officer John O'Keefe's body was found & his headlights would have Illuminated the O'keefe's body. So explain how Higgins does not see Officer O'Keefe's body laying in the very spot claimed by the state if Karen Read had hit him earlier? Fact Brian Higgins also lied several times to the Grand Jury testifying he had absolutely no contact or conversation whatsoever with any person that night before he went to bed. Fact: Busted Higgin’s your cell records show you contacted Brian Albert @ 2:22am & you both spoke for 22 seconds. Confronted with this truth, Higgin’s was forced to admit to this crime of perjury under oath. Fact: At about 2:19am the plow driver, Brian laughren, drives by the house and just like Brian Higgins he also witnesses no body on the lawn. If John O'Keefe is not dead on the lawn, at this time, as the state claims he should be then where is he? The only logical alternative is as Karen Read testifies, he's inside with the 3rd party culprits. 8 minutes later, the 3rd party culprits probability ramps up to factually clear when Jennifer McCabe is Googling “how long to die in the cold” @ 2:27am, as evidenced by FBI cell phone forensics. John O'Keefe body was beat up and chewed up not run over. This is clear to anyone unbiased, able to reason and seeking justice. Like the accident reconstructionist hired by the FBI who found O’Keefe’s injuries did not appear to be from a car strike. The bloody lacerations on his right arm, can’t be reasonably explained caused by a vehicle but easily can from dog bites. John O'keefe's eyes were swollen shut, his nose was cut, he had a laceration to the back of the head, multiple skull fractures and his clothing was saturated with blood and vomit. If his body was run over the coroner would have made the manner of death homicide, in line with the charges, but the coroner did not. Instead the coroner ruled the manner of death is indeterminate. Now why you think both the coroner and FBI expert came to the same conclusion? The prosecution certainly knows the evidence doesn’t match the charges. That’s why he’s pushing to not let the jury know the coroner's manner of death. For if the coroner didn’t find homicide from the claimed vehicle hit and the FBI expert didn't either then they both must have credible reasons. The same goes with Higgins and the plow driver who both didn’t see O’keefe’s body where it would be if it had been hit by Read’s vehicle as the prosecution claims. What credible reason explains why all this evidence aligns polar opposite to what the prosecution argues? Could it logically be the more plausible, probable, factually compelling evidence of 3rd party culpability raised by the defense? 3rd party culpability seems beyond a reasonable doubt, whereas Read’s guilt is nowhere near it. Oh what a burden for the state. So much reasonable doubt plus the not broken taillight at 5am will see the jury find Karen Read not guilty.

Very interesting, not letting the jury see the witnesses, never heard of that. But, by nature we judge a book by its cover, mannerisms, facial expressions, when really, it's the words that count. Being nervous on the stand can be misconstrued. 🤷

I’ve never heard of such a thing. My husband is a LEO. Anytime he has to appear in court, he HAS to wear his uniform. Not only to show who he works for, but because he’s technically “on the clock” because he gets paid OT for court appearances. There are SO many things that have happened in regards to this case that I’ve never seen before, and the trial hasn’t even officially begun. It’s so crazy.

@karenparker240 that doesn’t make any sense. Officers have to testify constantly in trials. Even without wearing their uniform (which makes absolutely no sense) they will state what they do for a living. Maybe their testimony won’t come off as horrible if they aren’t dressed in their uniform. There are a lot of LEO’s who screwed things up, didn’t follow protocol, made stupid decisions and just won’t get John the justice he deserves. I think it’s also worth stating that there are a significant amount of LEO’s from multiple agencies who are in Karen’s corner. Officers who stand up for what’s right, even when they have to stand up against their own.

Most experts agree that 70 to 93% of all communication is nonverbal. The setup of any court where there is an obstructive view of witness testimonies is nonsensical. It would be astonishing if this were not a common issue & common request for this particular court room. The Judge sounds put out & annoyed by the request when commonsense dictates a larger courtroom without obstructed views is required given the extraordinarily high public interest & the sheer magnitude of the case.

Nope. No DNA either. One interesting thing is the ME says the death was 'undetermined' and the only injuries were on his face/head. ME says that it appears deceased could have been in a fight. Until all evidence is heard, I don't think anyone can say. But, this is certainly not open and shut, IMO.

But then there's also a mountain of reasonable doubt, lets see you try to explain: (2) Brian Higgins testified under oath he parked by the mailbox and left at 1:30am. So how does Higgins not see Officer O'Keefe's body in the very spot claimed Karen Read had hit him earlier? If the body was there Higgins had to walk past it & his headlights would of illuminated it. (3) then, 50mins later, approx. 2:19 am the plow driver Brian laughren drives by the house and he also sees no dead body just like Higgins. If John O'Keefe is not dead on the lawn, as the state claims, and you blindly want us to believe, in the face of 2 contrary testimonies, then where is he? Well? Yeah crickets just as I thought. Its reasonable to assume, if not believe, he’s probably in Brian Albert’s 34 Fairview house, just as Karen Read testified she watched him walk into. Deal with it. (3) Higgins also lied to the grand jury testifying he had absolutely no contact or conversation whatsoever with any person that night before he went to bed. Fact: Higgin’s cell records show he contacted Brian Albert @2:22am & they spoke for 22 seconds. Confronted with this truth, Higgin’s is forced to admit to this crime of perjury under oath. So come on smarty pants explain why they're not only calling each other at this time but lying about it under oath and why you think we should trust these lying cops? (4) then, just 5 mins later @ 2:27am Jennifer McCabe is Googling “how long to die in the cold” as evidenced by FBI cell phone forensics. Its at this point, under the weight of this irrefutable evidence, whether you like it or not, the scales of justice flips to the lost all credibility, most probably, 3rd party culprits. (5) John O'Keefe body was beat up and chewed up not run over. This is clear to anyone unbiased, able to reason and seeking justice. Like the accident reconstructionist hired by the FBI who found O’Keefe’s injuries did not appear to be from a car strike. The bloody lacerations on his right arm, can’t be reasonably be explained to have been caused by a vehicle but easily can from dog bites. Officer John O’Keefe’s eyes were swollen shut, his nose was cut, the back of his head was lacerated, he had multiple skull fractures and his clothing was saturated with blood and vomit. Believe the evidence, common sense, and FBI expert or lying cops? (6) If his John O’Keefe’s body had been run over the coroner would have made the manner of death homicide, in line with the charges, but the coroner did not. Instead the coroner ruled the manner of death is indeterminate. Now why you think both the coroner and FBI expert came to the same conclusion? (7) The prosecution certainly knows the evidence doesn’t match the charges. That’s why he’s pushing to not let the jury know the coroner's manner of death. For if the coroner didn’t find homicide, from the claimed vehicle hit, and the FBI expert did not either then they both must have credible reasons. The same goes with Higgins and the plow driver who both didn’t see O’Keefe’s body where it would be if it had been hit by Read’s SUV, as the prosecution claims, in the face all this prima facie evidence aligning polar opposite to what the prosecution argues?
