I don't think it's a matter of knowing John or his parents, obviously we want the Jury to listen to the evidence and bring real justice for all involved, we don't know the truth, only those directly involved that night and sadly John's no longer here to give his account. I'm a parent of course my heart hurts watching both sets of parents, however John's parents will never talk to or see their son again, I just never want to be in their position, for their and everyone's sake, the truth must be told and leave no doubt, that will fester inside their heads forever more, watching from Scotland xx

Definitely much more likeable than Jen, but I think she tells the “truth” she is told by others controlling the narrative. It’s clear to me that Karen probably thought John was cheating on her and that was the reason he didn’t come home. Anyway, their smoking gun seems to be that Karen “knew” where he was because she saw John in the snow before anyone else. But…Karen wasn’t driving and had the entire time to search the roads, and they both admitted that they told Karen to be looking at the sidewalks and outside for him. It makes sense for the “searcher” to see him first because she’s not worried about road conditions. Too bad defense didn’t cross her! I’d really like to know about those meetings with Jen and Trooper Lank. Maybe they’ll call her as a defense witness?

KR: ‘I said, “They’re working on him! They’re working on him!” And at one point Karen grabbed the front of my jacket and screamed in my face and said, “Are they working on him? Is he alive?” And I said, “They’re working on him! They’re working on him! They wouldn’t be working on him if he was dead!” And then she had a hold hands and pray and then at some point she had blood on her hands and she was…she told us she had her period. So I think she was just in a state of shock maybe. We said, “No, that’s not your blood, that’s John’s.”’ This account is the compelling, vivid truth, the repeated “They’re working on him!”, the grabbing of the jacket, the holding hands to pray, being threads of hope against desperation; the final detail concerning the confusion in Karen Read’s mind about the blood and her period you COULD NOT MAKE UP and shows GENUINE DISORIENTATION. Shock and horror leave her acutely DISTURBED as her brain protects her from trauma through DISSOCIATION. In this VULNERABLE STATE she then compulsively reiterates QUESTIONS which have subsequently been used to construct an edifice of lies against her.

The important question is not how much snow was on top of John O'Keefe's body. The important question which Lally was careful not to ask was how much snow was *under John O'Keefe's body. The answer in testimony from a paramedic on Day 7 was approx 6 inches of snow was under John's body. Yet there is general agreement the snow was just beginning to fall when Karen Read dropped John off at the Albert's and allegedly hit him.

A scorned lover is someone who has been rejected or betrayed by a romantic partner. The term is often used to describe someone who reacts very angrily or violently to the breakup, seeking revenge or harm to the former partner. The expression "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" is a common proverb that reflects this idea.

“ But vehicle data from Read’s SUV showed that at 12:45 a.m., while outside Albert’s home, the Lexus traveled backward for 60 feet at 24 mph, Lally said. The SUV’s tail light was broken, Lally said, and pieces of the light were later found outside Albert’s home. Forensic testing showed that O’Keefe’s hair was found on the vehicle’s bumper and his DNA was found on the taillight, Lally said. Investigators also found the remnants of a cocktail that appears to have been spilled on the bumper, the prosecutor said. O’Keefe was captured on video leaving the bar with a cocktail in his hand, and bits of what the prosecutor described as a drinking glass were found in the SUV’s bumper. “ Gonna be hard to overcome these facts.

There is a difference what happens to the brain/skull when you are hit with something, vs. falling and hitting your head on something hard. The latter has a rebound effect and the other doesn't. His injuries sound like he fell and cut the back of his head and the brain hit the front of his skull causing the brain bleed and eye swelling. Wonder if the dog attacked his arm and he fell backwards down those concrete steps and stumbled toward the street before he fell unconscious. It does not make sense that his head would be sticking out to get hit at taillight-level by an SUV. THAT seems very unlikely.

@@KathleenHelms-nq1vk Not to mention the fact that Brian Albert literally got rid of his phone the day before the court order to seize it went through. He couldn't recall so many things when he was being cross-examined, but when he told the story about "upgrading his phone," he specifically said that on September 22nd he got a new phone. September 23rd was the day that the court order to seize the phone went into effect. Odd that he remembered the specific date, but couldn't remember specifics on other very important details. Also, his friend "upgraded his phone" right before his phone was to be seized as well. Brian Albert also played dumb the entire time and acted as if he had zero clue that he was effectively destroying evidence by getting rid of his phone. I just think there is far too much reasonable doubt to convict KR on murder charges. Our justice system is grossly corrupt.

The fact that John was found in one shoe tells me, he went into the Albert's house. Jenn and Karrie both testified that John didn't wear shoes in his house, so they knew to take them off when they went inside his home looking for him. John must of took his shoes off before entering the Albert's home just like he does at his house. I think something went down while he was getting ready to leave and putting his shoes on. I would focus on that if I was the defense. Jenn even acted like it was wrong that Karen didn't take her shoes off when they went looking at his house(as a way of claiming Karen knew John was dead) but in reality it makes her look guilty that there is some or deal with her wanting to emphasize that Karen didn't take her shoes off at John's home when looking for him but not the fact that John was only found in one shoe.

"You *need* to call 911" language!? .. "Karen was running around the body, and the EMT..." That's improbable, calling a person a body doesn't take minutes. Testimony is narrated from how we experienced that moment.

As a nurse you check response and a pulse , you know if some is cold and rigor mortis has set in.

As soon as she mentioned ambulance, there was a siren. So strange.

I don't know, man. I know a lot of you are saying she is believable, probably because of the emotion that she is displaying, but it seems very off to me. Don't forget that people can feel remorse or guilt and it can come off as genuine sadness. There is way too much reasonable doubt in this case for me to believe that a person should be convicted for murder. If there isn't concrete, without a doubt, evidence, then I truly don't think it is right to convict someone for murder. Witness testimony has been proven, time and time again, to be completely unreliable. Remember that. This woman could be telling the truth, but in my opinion, it's not enough evidence. Also, I can't forget about all the inconsistencies in everyone else's testimonies.

She may not be part of the cover up if there is one, she probably just got roped in to look for him
