living here (amarillo), and knowing that part of town, it is very not worth it to go there. and there would be way too much jizz for you to handle, mostly because it's so close to the bible belt. (as we as used to be near a few strip clubs, and both of the sex shops, that'd be what those big red xxx's you might have noticed on the highway where.) If you do stop here, eat on the west side of town, not near that tourist trap.

So, living in American, and Amarillo, I can tell you for a fact, it's not worth going to the Big Texan. It's a giand shitshow of a tourist trap, and everything that appeals to you besides the 72oz steak you can get at nearly every restaurant in the area even the diner chains, like Waffle House or Denny's (since that's considered a normal American Breakfast.) Also, trying out the steak challenge includes a $120 deposit that you'd loose if you didn't make it.
