40:40 threat plates is a tremendous nameplate addon for mobs that has a lot of customization even if you don't need to use it for actual threat. author may have found it just out of wanting to customize their bars, thats how I did :D P.s. I survived my "raid" on desolace since the last time and have progressed nicely. currently raiding the plaguelands :D:D:D

A tale of two raids; a Raid team of "Flavour of the month rerollers" vs a normal raid team - LOL, everyone going warrior, mage and priest, if this was on classic, it's DEFINITELY because of the rep they got, lol! wierd about no hunters though... Also, I imagine 16 warriors stepping out through the city gates, all proudly wielding their vendorstrikes like a guild crest or something :D

I think the funniest thing about the first story is that I've seen many others have this macro game mentality to everything classic, it's like they already have the first two years planned out and are outraged as things don't occur within that frame, instead of actually playing through it. :P However, I must admit this loot system is something special...

If you pull aggro on a raid boss, you're a bad DPS. There's really no excuse. You get a threat addon and you slow down when you're too high on threat. Your job isn't to do damage, it's to do damage without pulling aggro. I instantly lose respect for people who repeatedly pull aggro in situations where it matters even the slightest.

@@plummet3860 More of a pain than a once-per-week 10% drop rate, that you're competing with at least 10 people for, for 2 spell power, than a similar drop chance neck, that everyone already has, and that you can run the dungeon of in just over half an hour with 5 people? Not being able to kill a heroic warfront as a guild???? Can’t you just do any amount of dps and just put all healers to heal maiev… whoever dies just runs back. Crazy that a guild couldn’t win it…

So... just so we are clear on the loot rules. If I roll on a non-BiS non-tier item and win and equip it, but the guy next to me of my same class is still rocking a blue, then when a BiS item drops for our class he will automatically get it because it will be more of an upgrade. So I am being punished for having won an earlier roll. Additionally, if I already won an item, even if it was non-tier non-BiS then I am not entitled to any other loot within my class' delegation of loot until all other members of the raid belonging to my class get at least 1 item each? And despite the fact we have an RLM and CLMs to distribute loot so as to take it out of the potentially biased hands of the RL or GM, we are leaving literally the best and most powerful drops (legendary weapon mats) to be distributed at the sole discretion of the RL without any other stipulations? We good so far? Seems reasonable to me.....

TimeLess that’s pretty much how my classic guild ran things. The people that put no effort in to grinding dungeons for pre-BiS get showered with gear while those of us that are actually geared have to wait until the shitters get caught up. Also if you win a piece early in the raid, no loot for you til next week, even if that means an actual bis piece goes to an offspec. Guilds first mageblade went to a pug, second went to a holy pally, we’ve yet to see a third and Moonkin get priority on staff of dominance since they can’t use mageblade. It’s a total shit show

My old guild had personal loot and if you wanted someone else's loot you could put up a bid with gold and I was the main tank and had more gold than most of the guild combined 37mil I thought it was a great system because it still gave the one who was giving up loot the ability to grab other upgrades of the ah and if not gear upgrades they could get other necessary items. Btw I gave most of my guild gold if they needed it so I wasn't just some rich prick. I also used to fund the guild bank unltil I taught q few of them how to play the ah. Sadly the guild is now done and I may submit the story to a drama time but it is still a painful thing as the full story got pretty dark for me .

I use SUF and bartender 4 along with weakauras, can really make your ui just how you want it with that combo.
