@@Error-kh8kd never say never, but right now WoW has little to interest us and Blizzard has made little improvements as a company so we're dubious of doing so. Maybe if microsoft turns that ship around who knows but we will never be beholden to one game again at least.

As a furry I can confirm that theres a bunch of weird af people you will find in the fandom, but most people are chill and just wanna have fun. I wish everyone would not only acknowledge the really weird stuff tho. Not every furry sees it as a sexual thing or acts like a maniac, I just like cute stuff lol

I'm not sure FF7 is the best game to play for an idea of the influences on FF14. I know there's the Golden Saucer, but I think you'd probably get more out of FF6 or FF8.

Well for one, the weapon fights in the Sorrow of Werlyt questline are from ff7

@@GbrBy It's not that there is none, it's that, comparatively speaking, FF7 is not nearly as represented as some of the other games in the series are in FF14 (Which was probably a deliberate decision since FF7 tends to be over-represented in other media).

@@TheChunkeyNinja It is not the frequency of videos it is the drop in viewer count. Preach obviously thought he would go and play FF14 with all his youtube friends but it is clear that won't sustain an audience past endwalker with other interesting stuff going in the MMO world.

FF on youtube and stream has been massively important for the channel - in many ways it would not have been possible for us to move into the office without it. Drama and things like it are an outlier and not really representative of our general content.

Sure if microsoft turns things around, we'll be happy to revisit WoW, but we're never going to be one game exclusively ever again and we aren't going to play games unless we want to.
