A (former) friend of mine is the same. Extremely self-centered and emotional, reading emotions into situations with her "empathy" that aren't there while entirely oblivious to other people's actual feelings or, if she does consider them, she prides herself for having considered them and then still goes the self-centered route. But she is tooootally generous and a good friend and everyone is always mean to her (mean enough, so that every dick in the city and their fathers have helped her well beyond the means of politeness or friendship but yeah, no one's fair to her), of course. Her life is just so tough that she cannot do what others want... right? Did I mention the borderline disorder and suicidal tendencies? Okay, that turned into a bit of a rant but man, the author did remind me of that girl, a lot! Glad I cut her out of my life.

I’m inclined to believe she and her husband are just so socially inept they can’t even understand how bad they are in those interactions. I might have thought the GM overreacted getting rid of them so suddenly but if someone who already announced their departure was speaking so highly of their future guild that it sounded like an advertisement (to the point that more than a couple people complained about it) I wouldn’t want to let the potential poacher finish the scam either.

Empathy is being able to put yourself in other people's shoes and intuitively understand how THEY feel from your own experience (Which you obviously have no skill in from that story).The word you're looking for is SENSITIVE. The first story is 100% the author’s fault, not only did she do the girl thing of “uh I did this very clearly incorrect thing and I think maybe that’s possibly why they’re mad at me? I don’t know for sure though?” But the story was introduced to smear the guild by trying to putting the guild name out there, calling the GM a sociopath, and the “evidence” given to us via the whisper conversation was actually a really respectful conversation on the GMs part. Playing the “you made me cry” card just doesn’t work because really it’s not their fault you decided to get so upset over something like that. I’m not even saying it’s wrong to become that upset, but to tell people as some sort of argument just makes you look dumb

It's why you don't generally accept whamen into guild because them thots always cause drama and even rarely play any good. I've met maybe one woman who was good at her class and didn't stir up any drama. 99% of them did, especially if they were gfs of members or worse - officers.

Dear Preach... I have now joined you on a story of legendary proportions to the likes of which all will be hated in me. A fresh lock in Nax trans just getting his first sets of 340's and joining a warfront. He then sets on and gets his IL to 340 before joining a pug. What pug u ask? Normal Uldir. I blazen in there and boom I had coins. I plow threw each boss with everyone and then i get a drop. We were fighting Zul and i'm no scrub i know mechanics. We won. first try. and I get a piece of gear. what was it... a helm. I already had a helm at 360 so what does this scrub helm mean after all? nothing right. and then a guy begging and asking. And i no none the wiser no idea what gift the Gods had given me say sure not knowing this treasure. so i after all already have a piece and im about to get a higher piece don't think anythign about it cuz ya sure 360 ok, but im about to spend residuum on a 370 piece. not knowing that piece of armor. I got 2 more bis drops that night on my first run. the helm, the back warfarged, and the manifest (heroic) . ticket is in with bliz. ill keep u posted. #saltyLock

So, from Mike's intro, it sounded like the stories were going to try and top the cross country stalker...if that story was a 100, the first story for this was like a 5. I really hope she didn't think her "oh poor me I got kicked from a guild because I was bragging about going to another guild" story was a worse situation/better story than the stalker one. That's ridiculously self centered if she does. It's even worse that she was calling them sociopaths and saying to use the real name of the guild so others would know, she literally wanted to start a witch hunt for these people when she, herself, is the witch. Now, I understand, she probably didn't send it in thinking her story is better and that's just Mike hyping up the segment, but the rest is still true, this woman sucks. As for Pan story....I have no words. I was promised a guy story at the end for balance wtf Mike!
