I don't know if this story is true but people doing this kind of stuff is 100% true. I work in cyber security and when you're looking for ways into the network the easiest way is through the people. We routinely find a lot of information on people by knowing generally where they live and looking at social media stuff - there's a lot of ways to counter act a general search pull that we do but if someone REALLY wants to find you they can get into a LOT of records which are publicly available (In the USA not sure about Europe/etc.) This is a really good cautionary tale, you need to be sure not to provide this kind of information online to people that throw off red flags even if it seems harmless :/ *edit* ew and she fucked him lmao just heard - he's in boys, smashed confirmed.

Hey guys, author here! Yes this story is 100% true, I don't know if I could make this shit up if I tried. This was easily the scariest/wildest thing that ever happened to me. I never even thought about going to the police or getting them involved until the death threats started coming in. I thought at the time that I was making the right choices as to not upset the guy because I wasn't sure if he was capable of kidnap/torture/murder so I tried to play it safe. I'm sorry that it is so cringe but I tried to keep it as close to the truth of the actual conversations as possible. @@ulasfirattuzun I did link his real picture to everyone on our server because I wasn't the only one he lied to about what he looked like but people didn't care as much because tits. My guild knew my side of the story and would harass him back on WoW but it didn't do much to deter him. As for his Mom, she was really crazy. I tried talking to her and telling how how crazy this all was but she was worse than him. I tried contacting his father (who was separated from the mom) and telling him but I never got a response back. It was around the time that the mom stopped harassing me so maybe he had something to do with it xD I was clearly very naive but I was more scared of him coming back to my house and telling my parents everything (didn't know he'd show up at Easter at this point) so I thought if I met him and could talk to him that maybe he'd see how ridiculous this all was and I could make him go home. This may not shock you but those weren't the only bad decisions regarding a man that I made in my life xD

Be as fucking careful as you can about what you put out there folks, you'd be surprised at how easy it is to find out personal info of people just with a bit of seemingly harmless questions.

I stayed at a motel that charged by the hour once when I was 19 visiting New York city. It was just on the Jersey side of the bridge to New York and it was $60/night or $10/hour. The cashier was behind bulletproof glass,, I heard gunshots in the night, the mirror was permanently fogged up, the sink in the bathroom was on stilts and the TV had only one channel (black and white clown porn).......I did not stay there a second night....

​@@MegaBob12311 There's two things I know, one from this story and one in general: 1) According to the text of the story, it appears her biggest issues with the guy were that he was unattractive, and that he lied to her by sending her a better looking picture. The fact that he found her was pretty freaky, but I'll let point 2 explain the next part: 2) The line between what is "creepy" and what is "romantic" is often based on whether or not the girl is attracted to the guy. Now I'm not saying #2 is an absolute truth, and I'm not saying #2 is an excuse for good looking guys to creep on girls. But it is something that plenty of comedians have noted.

I've seen AND used an hourly hotel when I was in China. My tour group had 4 hours to wait for a flight, so the tour leader brought us to a park/recreational area. I was completely out of it from the trip so far (and a trip the hospital the previous day), so the only thing I wanted to do was crash. The nearby hotels all had hourly rates, so I literally just booked one and took a power nap until my flight. It was in a family-friendly area in the daytime, so if there was weird stuff going on there, it wasn't apparent. Honestly, I wish more hotels had hourly rates for a late afternoon nap if you're travelling.

There's just too much fucked up stuff going on here, and the fact that she decided to actually have sex with him in the end was what gives it away, in my opinion. I really doubt a real life woman what do that in her place. Even those who don't mind casual sex usually go out of their way to make a point by not fucking with males they find not attractive. The fact that she actually went through with it in the story makes me think it was written by some dude
