Hi, I'm a fan of your character design and , by the way, I see that you have a protector case for your iPad, can you tell me which brand/model it is? It looks nice since it protects the pen as well. Regards from México!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to explain your process. I've done traditional art forever and am just starting with digital. The way you explain is so easy to follow and I love how generous you are with sharing so many details. Also, Fika is the BEST! Can't wait to get back to Stockholm and Alingsås once this is all over!

amen to that feeling when you find your style!! i don't draw nearly as consistently as i should, but i've found once or twice when i'm on a drawing kick and i keep it up for a few weeks at a time, i'll see hints of "my style" come out and it's the best feeling.

I also use a very toothy brush for lineart, colouring is always uuuuh “fun” XD I usually colour by hand instead of using a fill bucket tool, it takes longer though so lately I’ve been using the auto select, feathering, filling, then selecting again and filling in the feather. Not as fun as hand colouring, but does make things go faster!
@violeta97044 жыл бұрын
If you like the texture look, I would recommend the dry brush for inking. Plus, you get great control with the line variation.

I just found your channel and I am in absolute love! I've binged nearly all your videos over the past day or two. Your vibes are just so, so amazing. I'm not really drawing-saavy -- like, at all -- and so I really admire watching you and your process! I also love your vlogs and your openness with mental health, failure, and other hard topics that most other KZbinrs edit out. I'm really glad you popped up on my home page and I cannot wait to support you and your shop when it opens -- and just in time for my birthday! Gonna buy some of your stuff as a treat to myself. 💖 But yeah! I really just love you, your channel, and your vibe. Thanks for being amazing, Cheyenne.

...and just like that, it was a half-hour later. Nothing like whiling away the afternoon messing around with my own digital drawings, then whiling away 33 minutes watching you work on yours. Your process looks a little like mine, only yours is fun to watch. I like the moment when you were explaining your shading technique, and ended up saying, I'm trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about, but I really don't. It just looks cool and it's fun, so that's why I do it that way." If I ever start filming my process, I'll probably say stuff like that a lot.

for a more simple way to do the clipping mask, you can just turn on alpha lock! im not sure if both works the same way.. but the way you explain it sounds similar! using alpha lock is less confusing for me!
@cheyennebarton4 жыл бұрын
but then all the additional bits are drawn on the same layer - clipping masks means i can add shading, details, etc, without messing with the colors of the base layer, which is useful cause I change my mind a lot lolol

With procreate a little workaround I have found with the pixelation, if you draw bigger than you normally would and when you scale down you can avoid the pixelated image.

Apparently if you change the little ball icon at the bottom right from Bilenear to Nearest Neighbor (or whatever it is) or the other setting, it won't change the resolution anymore when you resize things. Hope that helps, loving your art!

Hi, i have the ipad 10.2. i heard a lot of reviews saying its roo small and the bigger the better. But the size doesnr bother me at all. I am 5 ft 4 and have normal sized hands lol not too small. So i think its about preference and if u have bigger hands itll be a problem, otherwise its ok

In coloring the steam from the tea, you could just create a new “steam” layer above your colors. Coloring the details underneath without avoiding the steam bits. Fill the steam in with white and then lower the opacity for the perfect effect over the colors beneath it.
