The crazy thing about Nathan’s prompt is that it also a very close description to the main character of Gleipnir. The only major differences are that the person wearing him can exert some level of control on their actions and that the intention of the power is more geared towards “becoming a single unit” than control over another. There is actually one singular instance where Kite uses Crazy Slots and chooses the weapon he wants. When Pitou comes into the scene he's in and *immediately* chops his arm off, he uses the ability and we get a specific second of silence to show that Kite didn't complain about the weapon he got, which leads us to believe he purposefully chose his strongest weapon to fight Pitou.

Though I'm personally concerned how much Julia skipped, because 1 is not all that important, but like half of the first 10 episodes are both vital and awesome. Like 'A father's love', wich isn't in any way rough and a brilliant episode, one of the best even.

to be fair, I think TMA season 1 is a lot less rough than many other podcasts I've given a try. Any D and D podcast, for example, has a really ROUGH first episode: extra long, bad audio quality, rambly. Like, yes, the audio quality is kind of flat for TMA for the first season or so, but the quality of the writing and horror is the same all the way through. I personally skipped around based on how spooked I was by the stories. Some of them just weren't my thing because I found them not spooky or interesting at all, but I only figured that out by trying the episodes out.

As someone who primarily plays episodes based on references, i have watched almost every episode forom the last 3 years in less than two months. The older ones dont get referenced as much, nor does youtube recomend them often. But the core episodes, speeddraws and streams are almost all linked together.

Yes, in that section I was having to tell myself "it's ok for people to have different opinions! Taste is subjective! There's no reason to be upset about this!" Seriously though, I'm glad Julia found a way to get into Magnus even if it didn't immediately grab her. At the end of the day taste really is subjective, we don't all have to enjoy a piece of art in the same way, as long as we're having fun.

Interesting that the early magnus archives episodes are considered rough, I thought those were so good and that the show lost some of the magic when it became cleaner. The suspension of disbelief was easier when it was rough

It remind me of some fun unhinged watching orders I've heard about like Dr Who but chronologically by years the Doctor time travel to. The Jacket-Jacket Fruit is weird but not the grossest thing that has happened in One Piece. That's gotta be S15E578: The Straw Hats meet a Giant woman who ate the Mini-Mini fruit that allowed her to control her size. So then Luffy straight-up **vores her** when she's tiny, she becomes big inside of his body, and Luffy swells up and becomes Giant Luffy and crushes the enemy. It's....well, it's definitely SOMEBODY'S something.

I zoned out for part of this episode while I was trying to figure out what Julia meant by the first few episodes of The Magnus Archives sounding “rough.” Just listen to them on an old tape recorder like the entity intended and everything will be fine. The only thing that broke me out of my trance was the need to organize all the Drawfee episodes by the references made in them.
