Drawing an Out-of-Focus Moth in Hyperrealism - ᓚᘏᗢ

I sometimes feel getting that dark background in is the trickiest part of the entire drawing - it always stresses me out. 😅 Great work on that little out-of-focus hawk moth! 💖🙌 I think making it look out-of-focus is probably harder because you always have to balance and make sure you don't put too much detail in it or the effect would be ruined. But you did an amazing job! 💯

Thanks An! 😻💐💖 I used to be very shot-sighted (got my eyes lasered ⚡) so I spent a lot of my life seeing everything as a little blurry. 😹 I feel kind of nostalgic for my short-sighted days whenever I draw something that's out-of-focus. 🤭 😅 The background's one of my favourite bits. I like fiddling with the silhouette - where the subjects meets the background.
