I don't understand why your channel is not bigger. There are big art channels out there, which are also amazing, but I am much more anxious to see a video of yours then of someone who is doing it for a hobby. You did amazing things with your art, you are an established artist and your art was a huge part of my childhood. I am glad that I am able to learn from a person like you are.
@rae-gan9 жыл бұрын
+Tomislav Artz (Tom) i totally agree with you but i also wanted to applaud you for not shooting down other channels. no matter what the community, a lot of people like to treat big channels as if they don't deserve what they have while smaller ones do instead! it's like my pet peeve so. thanks :']
@tomislavartz9 жыл бұрын
pinecub I gave credit where credit is due. Those people have achieved things with hard work. I am saying that I am much rather learning from someone who is pretty much a legend then a random person who still is really good.
@jarosbodytko64629 жыл бұрын
+Tomislav Artz (Tom) Agreed. I've subscribed to about 5 art channels and more if you also count photography and photoshop and they're all great, but Aaron's channel is the one that not only provides the teaching of a well-established professional but also takes the time to guide you through the basics without the assumption that you've already reached a certain skill level. I can't tell you how often I found tutorials that glance over parts where you really need explanation as a beginner.
@tomislavartz9 жыл бұрын
Jaros Bodytko I know exactly what you are talking about! I am not a fan of the "how to draw (character)" videos. People should learn the principles and be able to draw the character themselves.
@jarosbodytko64629 жыл бұрын
Tomislav Artz yeah exactly. I consider myself extremely lucky to have stumbled onto this channel by accident through one of my subscribed channels. I've learned more from Aaron in a few months then any other artist (even though they are great as well :))

This video is top shelf. I have been drawing and learning for a while and this video, by far, is one of the most well presented material for learning the anatomy of the nose and the shading of it's plains.

Hey Aaron! I am really appreciating what you are doing for a lot of artists here on youtube and on your website! I noticed that you were selling your custom brushes but the only brushes I am interested in is the brush you are using for the main part of this tutorial and also the other charcoal "sketching" brush that you use, you know the one that looks like a default brush. I love the natural feeling they give the drawings and sketches you make!
@ho9Art9 жыл бұрын
+ho9Art I forgot to ask if these brushes are included in one of your brush bundles and if so which one, or optionally where else I could get them if they're not in a bundle.

Hey Aaron, what is a good way to practice consistently in a character?
@tomislavartz9 жыл бұрын
+SuperDuper good question!
@AaronBlaiseArt9 жыл бұрын
+SuperDuper Myonly advice there is repetition. Doing it over and over again is your best bet.
@superduper78749 жыл бұрын
+The Art of Aaron Blaise yeah, I see, but every time I try to make a character and try to draw him, eventually he will get out of proportion. Thank for the advice though, it was very good, I will to draw him more and more.
@PianoBird259 жыл бұрын
+SuperDuper I had the same problem in a LOOONG time. then I started try out Croquis and image refferences on the interenet- with "speed sketching" and in the beginning they looked like . yea... But suddently it started changing. just one bit at the time- then the hands came to the right, even thought everything else was out of proportion . and so on it kept- untill it ended up "more or less" accuate at last. So, keep trying, and try make alot of different poses with same structure (if A big guy.- exaggerate, and play with it, and it might help to get it right in the end) good luck :)

What kind of drawing pad do you ise and which program? This video, I am glad it is a step by step nose drawing tutorial. Thise of drawing on a skull I haven't seen in the many videos I've watched and did not help me to get better, and I want my proportions to be accuarate. This really really just helped me. I draw on sketch padds with thick paper because I erase alot. If you're willing to share the drawing pad and program you use. I will very much appreciate that. I am subscribed to you now. I look forward to watching your tutorials because this was absolutely the first helpful video I have seen in drawing.
