Just for future reference, the "second layer of fur" under the chin is called a dewlap. Many animals have it, and others, like humans, have something similar. In us it is called a double chin. In many animals with dewlaps, they are more pronounced in females. Sometimes they are at the bottom of the neck, sometimes more towards the center of the chest. Cats have it at the neck, like drawn in this video. Rodents and their cousins, like guinea pigs or capybaras, have it on their chest. Just a hint, because I know the more you know about anatomy, the more accurate your drawings become and the better familiar you are with the terms, the less abstract the concept becomes in your mind.

Man, I love your tutorials. they really helped me when I was starting out, especially your tutorials on how to draw Faces, human body, poses and Anatomy. though I know that most people wish to see tutorials on how to draw Anatomy more accurately, I can't shake a feeling that it would useful if you done the tutorial on Gesture drawing. the issue is that many beginner artists like myself start out blocking main shapes and details of a figure and in most cases it comes out really stiff and sort of inanimate. And I know there are many tutorials on how to start practicing Gesture drawing but for most beginners but these tutorials are quite frustrating for beginner artists. therefore it would be really beneficial if you made a tutorial on Gesture drawing.

One tip I got from an animator is how the angle of the snout between the top of the head can sell its silhouette a lot easier. When studying the snouts in perspective, I am intentionally to keeping track of this angle.

4:08 This! 100% this 🙌🏼👏🏼 I applaud you for you being so humble and honest about this very fact! So many artists will gloss over this and it can be problematic for those looking to up-skill and learn. I’m an art teacher and also make sure my students understand it will never be perfect on the first attempt, in fact I myself have been drawing wildlife for years and often I still need a few attempts to get the initial proportions and accuracy up to par. I know big animators that also struggle from time to time. Practice literally makes progress (I don’t like saying perfect, because perfection is a ridiculous standard in my opinion). Having a good understanding of anatomy and comparative anatomy also makes a huge difference, a lot of people are often amazed to know how similar our anatomy is to other mammals etc. Once you understand most of the underlying anatomy then you can pretty much open the door to a ton of potential.
