Speaking of decorum durung the National Anthems,you should see Brazilian football player Alex,who plays for Japan,during the Japanese National Anthem. He was belting it out, while everyone around him was silent.

e.g. I found an ad on fb in which a belarusian announced that he was looking for an additional job because he was alone with his daughter in Poland and he needed money... do you know how people insulted him?... idiots!!... and you know what ?i wrote to him.... and now he takes care of my garden .. and honestly, I havent met such a calm, good, nice, modest man like him for a long time... and why do i care that he comes from Belarus? what matters is what kind of person he is! and on saturday we are having a party with a bonfire, polish music, disco polo, with my family, neighbors and he will also come with his daughter (the daughter is 16 years old)... and that is life, loving people, music, singing and dancing, .... If AFL Grand Final game is drawn? Prior to 2016 the full game was replayed! According to Wikipedia, "In 2016, the grand final replay was abolished. As for other finals matches, drawn grand finals are now resolved with two five-minute periods of extra time; if the scores are still tied at the end of the extra time period, play will continue until the next score."

In the AFL finals In the case of a tie, the teams will be faced with two five-minute periods of extra time to decide the match. If the sides are still unable to be separated after the second period, the siren won't sound, with the next team to score winning the match. Same for the grand final now but until 2016 if the Grand Final was a draw they would come back the next week a replay the game again last drawn grand final was in 2010 in the AFL

I love a great draw! They should keep them and bring back the draw in GFs. I know with the GF logistics of coming back the next week is a spectacle.. Collingwood and Saints drawn GF in 2010 was brilliant... especially because the Pies won😂

I think Aussies in general avoid singing the anthem. I often go to my kids' school assemblies, and occasionally the play the National Anthem - the kids sing it, but very few of the parents do. I think you'd find a lot of the crowd at the Anzac day game(s) didn't either....

Draws are good! I used to be in favour of overtime but not anymore! A draw normally indicates that the contest is so great that both sides can't even be separated! Footy is already the greatest sport of all time and for matches to end in draws is not only rare but makes the sport even more amazing in terms of the quality of the contest!

A lot of people have had a gutful of sport getting politicised, with the anthem, welcome to country, gay pride, etc, we just want to watch 2/3 hours of sport at a time where we forget about politics and have fun, as for draws, you know my stance.

Draws are great. Fair inseparable contest. Like you said neither deserved to lose also neither deserve to win. But in the finals case in any game when split is needed, just play on with either extra time known to all or 1st score. If the extra time version went on too long then start removing players.

Agree 100% that draws are ok, for regular season games of course. The extra time currently in use for the Finals is fine, basically it is at it should be I believe.

It’s a hard one isn’t it. Your an Englishmen so you are going to say draws are ok and personally I actually agree with you. When teams can’t be split they can’t be split. Also I like that we give the teams that were even 2 points.

Keep the draw, Nothing better than seeing two teams you don't like miss out on 4pts, A draw can be the difference of making finals, or top 4 for the second chance, maybe even avoid the wooden spoon

In home and away I think Draws are healthy in Finals I was happy with Extra Time until you mentioned the Penalty shoot out. In the AFL you could call it the Set Shoot shoot out if you wanted. An Right now Im imagining its the Grand Final its the 2 best teams all season and at the end of the game the Game is a Draw and the Penalty Shoot out to decide the winner to win the Premiership. That would be exiting Here is a Proposal of How it Could work in the AFL but only in Finals in the Home and Away game or a Pre-Season Game an Draws a Draw - If at the end of the 4th Quarter in any finals Match the Scores are Level The Game will be Decided by a Penalty shootout - Teams before the Start Game will select 10 Players to Take the Set shots if the game were to be a draw - The Players selected to take the shootout will be named at the Same Time as The Tactical-Sub as well as the order the players are takig the set shots in - If any of the 10 selected Players are injured during the main Match The club can in the 5 Minutes Choose 1 new player to take the set shots for every 1 Player that was injured During the Match - The Penalty Shootout will start 5 mins after the siren to end the 4th Quarter - If either club has 3 or more injured players taking a set shot than the Penalty shoot out will be delayed for up to 3 minutes for every injured player - Goals and Behinds will be worth the same amount of points as they are in the Main game - Teams will take it in turns to take a set shot getting 10 shots each each player going once - Both teams will take a set shot form the same end and the end and the umpires will choose which end to kick from - Scores from the main game wont be carried over to the shoot out but will be shown the the official score - The Scores in the Shoot out will be shown in the official score separately form the scores in the Main game - If one team gets an insurmountable lead at any point after 5 players have kicked the Shoot out will be declared over and the leading Team will be declared the winner - If both teams after 10 shots still cant be seperated both teams will get 1 more shot each until one team scores more than the other and the order the Players kick the Extra shots in will be the Same order the first 10 shots were taken in - The team with the Most Points wins the whole game

They don’t sing our national anthem because most of our population only know the first verse. They had some program years ago to ensure our Olympians could sing all verses, as at one particular Olympics nobody sang, but it hasn’t moved on to other sports. I don’t like penalty shootouts or extra time. In the finals series a draw involves both team playing again the following weekend, and there’s never been an instance on the rematch ending in a draw.

The draw should stay. They hardly ever occur in AFL, but its just something different, the silence at the end of the game is deafening. Especially the 2010 grand final draw, you could hear a pin drop after the final siren went off.

NRL have golden point..then it's a draw if no one scores ie warriors v manly. Finals it's different.
