power metal is a subgenre of metal one defined by guitar solos and fast paced music and I've heard Dragonforce be described a s a bunch of guitar solos gaining sentience and forming a band To be fair power metal is not my go to choice for metal music (Folk metal is my poison [bands like Arka'n Asrafokor, Bloodywood, Al namrood, ...]) but I do gotta give credit where credit is due. Dragonforce is awesome... also a good introduction to metal
