As long as they keep doing them I believe that people will eventually look back and it will be a notch on the resume kinda like an all star or something. Nothing crazy high profile but still an accolade, especially as long as the stars care. Having the older stars clearly care a lot about it last year and this year hopefully shows the new ones should care too and it can snowball.

I think the winner of the nba cup should get a automatic top 10 pick in the nba draft that would really turn up the heat Either that or they get to move up by 1 seed in the playoffs so if your the 7 seed you move to the 6 and avoid the play in the 4 spot you move to the 3 if your dead last you get a automatic play in spot to get to compete for the playoffs
