@chriswood8430 it's schematic. Blitz too much, double team too much, leave wide open shooters. Klay was shooting 38% from the field, 36% from 3 coming into this game, we let him feast because we chose to double Kyrie and Luka, and those guys still got off anyways. Playing 3 small guys at once, Steph, GP2 and Podz it literally suicide by Kerr, and he does it every game and we get torched on these minutes.

One thing I'd add, is how the team/Kerr is trying to force Kuminga at the 4 which forces Dray to the bench since he doesnt want to play the 5 as much as he has been (and fair enough - he can't handle the output anymore). So now they put the defensive captain on the bench to start the game.. which brings me back to Drays comments about not playing with force. The Mavs/Klay etc got too hot early and never cooled down That's the dumbest thing Kerr has ever done and he has done a lot of dumb shit like ice hot players, DNP Slomo when even he said postgame the Mavs were too big and they dominated the glass... Guy is the ultimate cock-blocker of his own team... and the fan base wants to blame the teams poor stretch on Podz 💀

To be honest im not mad at this loss . Warriors played there ass off , just mavs shot the lights out . This game was better than the rockets game , as far as not turning the ball over . We fought back best game i seen this year and hats off to both teams , its was high scoring. I saw 2 great games in 2 different sports yesterday. Detroit lions vs bills & warriors vs Dallas both made history in high scoring game . Great week of sports

I agree, this experiment of starting Jk unfortunately makes the defense soft and no force when your playing an offense like Dallas. They got slapped on the face on that first quarter because the defense was really soft. You need a physical defense when your playing against a team like this.

You can’t put him on the 3 because his perimeter shots are inconsistent and questionable sometimes then you can’t put him on the 4 either because his defense is not strong enough and his basketball IQ is not that high either to make some of the decisions a 4 should make so I don’t really blame the coaching staff because they’re giving him a chance to prove he deserves the money and contract that he wants so they are in a nut shell with Jk. I still believe ge does not deserve to get paid 30 mil per year . He is 18 to 22 mil per year player based on how he plays.

After Melton got traded, their defense was a mess. Told y'all you need a two-way guard to slow down the opps offense.
