Well, i took the flight from Shanghai and frankly the flight was so smooth. I would say that the C919 was as good as the Airbus A320 Neo or even better and it's much, much better than the Boeing 737 Max 10. I won't take the risk of flying on a Boeing 737 Max 10 which many believe that there are many safely issues with the plane. Like they say, 'if it's a Boeing, i aren't going.'

Having flown with no novelties since May 2023, 10 operational samples, it`s pretty enough to set a accurate flying laboratory. The Airworthiness Type Certificates from FAA and EASA could be delated but ONLY by dirty geopolitical stuff, considering the lowest sticker price each one, almost 20 million bucks difference below the counterparts, something that turns heads and eyes it self. Good video, nice plane, and experience as well.

Great job! You've let us know in this 12 min video almost everything about the cabin related to passenger experience, and even spared some rare close looks at the front galley, cabin door and flight attendant panel. Well done! 👍Thanks for giving the menu and meal their well-deserved close-ups, too! I was helplessly drooling over the MU noodles with the generous toppings. It looks so yummy!🤩 Your reminder "White Rabbit is the brand, not the source" cracked me!🤣 I like your on-screen comparisons of the cabin dimensions - C919 is clearly more spacious than its Boeing and Airbus counterparts, with considerate details such as the slightly wider middle seats in Economy Class. It'll be better if we could see the design and use of the overhead compartments. Nevertheless, it's an excellent flight review!❤

The duopoly of Airbus and Boeng was struggling even before the war in Ukraine broke out but now after sanctions on Russia they cant even get enough Titanium together to build enough planes for their own markets yet alone the emerging ones in Asia South America and Africa. It's from Skyships Eng, and it's about the development of the C919 and C919ER. The exact name escapes me right now, but I'm sure it's easy to find if you go to that channel and type "about the C919" in the channel's search field. I hope I'm not out of line with this comment, but I was really curious about this airplane, because it sounds so much like the A320-NEO. Yes, many parts are made for COMAC by foreign companies - as are Boeing aircraft such as their wings, etc and shipped to the U.S. for final assembly. Virtually all companies do this nowadays to save on costs in R&D, expertise in manufacturing specific parts, economies of scale, etc. The old days when one company manufactured everything that went into a product to the last nut and bolt no longer exists, having begun disappearing around the 1970s. This is why we have an integrated multipolar world today of interconnected economies. The cost and expense for any one single company to manufacture every single last part all on its own would make the end product prohibitively expensive and out of reach for most consumers apat from the fabulously wealthy passenger.

1. C919 is just in its infancy. Why would you pick up Airbus for comparison in terms of annual production number? For its first product A300, it took Airbus more than five years to deliver 80 in the 1970s. In addition, C919 is a totally new type for pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, maintenance engineer, airport operators, ATC.... They all need to be trained and gain experience, and it takes time. This means that introduction to service has to be a progressive process. Why would you assembly more aircraft than airlines can digest and park billions of dollars in the hangar? COMAC has published a clear plan for assembly line growth. 2. As a matter of fact, Chinese airlines have already placed hundreds of firm order for C919. US companies still ordering hundreds of airbuses, and European companies still ordering hundreds of Boeings. So what? That is what we called trade. On the other hand, Chinese companies retired hundreds of jets each year due to fleet management, and these old jets must be replaced by new aircraft. Not to mention that net aircraft number has to increase to meet the booming market. Even if, today, C919 has the production capacity of 770 annually, Chinese companies will still order hundreds of airbuses and Boeings. 3. BTW, what are the major technical issues?

@DrBearAviation Just in his enfancy indeed for a plane presented in 2008 and planned to enter service in 2014 finally getting in commercial service i. 2024 .Long infancy 15 years . End result : a plane 50 years behind compétition except in certains areas like avionics or the engine but again these are western produced like 40% of all components. Lack of trust of western régulators which means that it will take years to be certified internationaly but will do its job in China. Western sanctions may complicate even further production ,creating technical issues China is trying to replace the engine by a local one but this will take decades to come up with if ever .You are right many chinese companies have ordered the plane but thèse are state companies buying to Comac which is a state company. Its as if im selling to myself the tomatoes I grow in my garden. We shall see what happens it it may have or not a future it dépends of many factors , western dépendancy v sanctions, international certifications , appétite from international airlines , cost to operate .adequacy to needs... What is sure is that its miles away from 320 néo and comparing both is a total non sense.

Who elected you as the aviation expert of the world? And besides a car is a car and a plane is a plane. Do you make similar comparisons between Boeing and an Airbus? Or a German car with a Japanese or Korean car? People the world over embrace technology and development and more options. You, however, must still be living in a cave with your sorry self
