Whenever this time of the year comes I am amazed at how fast time goes. I've been following the channel for almost 5 years, and each news story or explainer video feels fresh, like it was released yesterday. Having access to such an amazing and smart science communicator is priceless. The world needs this kind of approach to science in every way. We're not all scientists, but we are all curious beings, a thousand thank yous Dr Becky

I love how you talked about LRDs and explored the paper by Labbé et al. My advisor from undergrad (Kate Whitaker) is a collaborator on that paper and I spotted a couple of her students on the paper as well. For her class I actually wrote a paper on LRDs, more specifically how LRDs were thought to be brown dwarfs in the foreground contaminating really distant surveys like JADES, etc. Anyway thanks for the news Becky!
