Always enjoy the relaxed aesthetic and the chill sort of in between commentary. It sort of feels like you’re actually on break with a doctor. And that’s always kind of fascinating to people outside that world. It’s also good to see hard working doctors acknowledging their struggles instead of being selfless. I do always get the sense that the skeleton staff makes things exhausting. As an insomniac, I recognize this level of spaced out exhaustion. I hope things get easier. Real heroes deserve real vacations.

You do an excellent job working 7 days straight as the only dr on call. NYC hospital is lucky to have you. I work in aged care here in Australia as a carer with a lack of staff definitely makes you feel exhausted with a lot of residents.
