The FDA is extremely particular with what drugs they approve, what dosages, and for what treatments, and yet, they still often allow mad things to get through. I asked my ortho about this peptide and if it would help heal my injury. He said he knows nothing about it and doesn’t deal with peptides. Also told me it’s not fda regulated so that’s why too. I have slap tear in my shoulder, shoulder impingement syndrome, bone spur and arthritis. I’ve lost so much mobility, strength and I live in pain daily that I push through. Actually both shoulders. My left came upon 2 months ago and my right happened 6 years ago. He wants to go in and clean as much of arthritis out, cut bone spur off, stitch up the tear and cut the tendon off from shoulder and screw anchor it in arm bicep area. If my memory is correct. But I can’t afford to get surgery done. Too much time off from work and loss wages I desperately need.

I'm not asking for medical information or asking for medical advice rather I'm stating what I'm doing and not suggesting or condoning others copy me in seeing this comment. I have been recovering mostly from a dislocated left knee injury from working at Amazon in December of 2023 and after they denied me workman's comp on surgery it was apparent that these people were trying their absolute hardest to get rid of me and not pay for my surgery and I would be limited to desk only type of jobs for a couple of years to heal. Thankfully I found a remote job in the beginning of 2024 and mostly was able to recover from it I just can't fully extend my leg like I used to with normal speed and finesse like people do kicking their feet out before promptly standing up. I still can't fully catch the brunt of my body in full momentum going down stairs like some people do moving quickly. While I'm sure I'll need surgery for removing a small piece of floating cartilage in my left knee sometime soon, it's not major issue and can live with it even if it catches. I just don't want a weak knee anymore along with a quad muscle. I have a visibly noticable smaller calf and quad in comparison to my right side which has blown up in size from relying on it so much and hope this will give me a quick turnaround in less than a month because I'm just done with this. I'll comment here once I buy some and then report back how it goes.

Dr. Geier this was extremely informative content! I wanted to ask if you have seen any data on the route of administration of BPC in terms of different routes such as oral vs intramuscular? I listened to a different channel that seemed to elude to the theory that orally would focus on gut and intestinal healing while via a shot that would target tendons and muscles, I'd never heard any other doctor or practitioner state this so I question whether any other Doctor has read or seen evidence of this or does administration mechanism not have bearing on what part of the body that BPC is healing or working on?

So for a person with knee issues, wrist issues, bicep issues, multiple issues it would be easiest to do oral if that would be at all effective to cover all injuries/issues. Or would one just need to subQ at site? Or subQ in stomach? Thank you!

I am actually recording a video on this exact question, so it should be up soon. @DrDavidGeier Жыл бұрын
I've never seen any studies that suggest BPC 157 is associated with any cancer.
@francescomaoli4823 Жыл бұрын
BPC has angiogenic effects, such as neovascularization. If anything, this should be a relative contraindaction for anyone with cancer history or high risk, if anything should be used to inform patients offered this. The research on this peptide is severely limited, and to date there are no human RCTs, and what few rat studies there have been have found both increased incidence of certain cancers (particularly gastic) and decreased incidence of cancers. In summary, any angiomodulatory agent should caution us in its potential effects on cancer risk. It looks like it could be very promising, but I’d personally be very cautious giving this to patients because there’s such little research done.

There is a fair amount of disagreement about where a peptide should be injected to work best. There have been no studies to prove exactly where or how far away is best.

What is your view on oral and injection? I read different stories about oral can be just as effective for tendon issues and injecting in "close" to injury area adds nothing to it. .. guess i was to soon typing this. As you mention in the video later on oral is indeed just as effective.
@crispycruiser4654 Жыл бұрын
Neither is effective. It’s a scam. But oral would be objectively less effective because if doesn’t make it through the gut

As a user of PCI Peptides' on Etsy BPC 157 and TB 500, I'm quite impressed with their product quality and value for money. Their commitment to independent testing lends an extra layer of confidence in their products' legitimacy. I find the bulk powder form cost-effective, despite the extra step required for use. The BPC 157, in its arginine state, has been especially convenient due to its oral bioavailability. However, I do wish they'd provide more detailed usage instructions. Overall, I rate them 4 out of 5 stars, considering their value, transparency, and quality.

I’ve started taking BPC 157 ( 10 cc/ml units per day) injection in belly fat. I’m using in order to heal my big toes injuries ( I had to stop cortisone shots because it was just a bandaid, not a fix). I’m supposed to use for 30 days in a row. After 4 days I stated to see results in my toes, but I also started experiencing abrupt constipation since day 1. I had to stop the injections. What would help the most? Lowering the daily dosage or injecting in the thigh / toe directly, or should I keep injecting in the belly but maybe not every day? I got the peptide from NexGen location. I just got exhausted by my podiatrist telling me my tow situation was because of an extra bone and wouldn’t validate that 2 years ago someone stepped on my toe and the fluid between the bones leaked out and thus I have arthritis in my right foot big toe.

I would expect that a physician injecting it into the joint might be more effective than subcutaneous injections, but that's just my impression based on the mechanism of action and available studies. It might offer at least pain relief via SQ injection around the hip.

So I really like all the great things that full spectrum CBD oil can do. ( sars for instance). I use it mostly for good sleep and recovery. my research suggests that this plant oil extract wilted to nullify many other medicines. I wonder how it may react with PCB-157. to help I am thinking to take the BCP-157 and then leave some time before taking the cannabis oil. but it just seems like an idea. would be helpful to have some info on such interactions. Also in listening to your video I am thinking to increase my collagen through powder and bone broths while taking 157, is this generally a good idea?

Hey there, sounds like you're on a solid path with full spectrum CBD and considering BPC-157 for recovery. Spacing them out is smart; less chance of interactions. can BPC-157 restore a completely torn ligament, say an ACL or is it recommended to get surgical repair of that ligament 1st and then take BPC-157?
@DrDavidGeier3 ай бұрын
There are no studies on using BPC 157 for ACL injuries. Given the nature of that injury, and its intra-articular nature in a joint with synovial fluid, I have no reason to believe that peptide would heal an ACL injury on its own. I do believe it could possibly help a patient recover faster from that surgery, but that is in no way medical advice.
