I can see some parts where people could think that the videos are staged, especially the parts where dream gets down to half a heart and manages to get away some how, even after like half an hour if chasing. If there's money on the line then why would the hunters kill each other? See, if it's a random kid who's chasing you then they would do whatever it takes to kill you. Be it pushing you off the edge or dropping lava above your head. It's as easy as that, its just that the ones chasing you are your friends, and it's heavily biased. They're not really there for the prize money, they're not there to hunt you, they're there to make 'content' to make $$ off the content. I'd call it a manhunt if they really did their best to kill the speedrunner, but they're not. Hence why, you can also say it's scripted. They're not doing their best .
