60k+ votes is not even 1% of Philippines' population, it doesn't make sense. Philippines is not yet fully backing up Sophia, her fans worldwide did that. Meaning, majority of DA's current fans chose her as one of their Top 6 to debut. Accept the fact that those who have low percentage of votes only means they have fewer fans worldwide.

Apparently the reason why the judges critiques doesn’t make sense for fearless groups is because the clip that the judges watched were different from what was uploaded on youtube. The judges watched the live performances of both antifragile and fearless teams, but the uploaded video for fearless team’s vocal were prerecorded thats why they didn’t sound breathy at all while in the antifragile teams videos you can literally hear their breaths because their vocals was live.

at the end of the day tho these girls will be in a group together and like it or not the way an audience feels about them is just as important as their talent. especially if hybe is really going to market them to a western audience. if she debuts and already has a problematic history it will effect the overall reputation of the group. it surprises me that so many people are defending a trainee this hard i understand that she’s talented but if she debuts without at least addressing the things she liked instead of simply making her likes private and calling it a day, it will fall badly onto the final lineup

⁠@@dontdumpanyaforger8216she was liking tiktok videos supporting israel if i’m understanding what OP is referring to correctly. it is very tone deaf and reprehensible to say “i stand with israel” when the whole reason their citizens were attacked and killed by hamas was out of palestinian resistance to decades of ongoing colonization and genocide - supporting the freedom of palestine is the only sensible response in wanting to put an end to the violence, rather than supporting israel who will continue to instigate it. however, i’d understand a 17 year old who might not yet be educated on global politics or the nuanced history of israel/palestine to understand this logic, as opposed to the idea of seeing deaths in the news (which are being propagandized as “terrorism”) and immediately wanting to align with a much more simple “death is bad” stance. the silver lining is that hopefully this is an opportunity for samara to educate herself. however, she also was liking videos being racist towards indians as well. i’d say she’s lost her spot in my top 3 with nayoung and lara because of this, so i’ll probably be supporting manon as my third pick instead since black girl representation is going to be SO necessary in a global girl group and she’s stunning visually anyway
