Hey! Thank you! I believe the R1 will possibly at least do 120fps raw, electronic shutter. R5 will potentially do 40fps. Just my guess!

When you say the rolling shutter vs the global shutter won't make much of a difference. Where the global shutter shines is in lighting, no flash sync. They're some other benefits as well. I just don't think it outweighs a conventional shutter yet.

R1 needs to be better the A9iii. R5ii needs to be better than A7Rv. Tough task and perhaps that’s why it is taking Canon so long.

I agree with you on the fact that it needs to be better, but Canon's release schedule of every 4 years is not based on Sony, at least I don't think that. The truth is, once R5ii is announced, I'm positive Sony will announce the A7S IV only a few weeks later. The best camera is always the newest. That's how it works.
