I love this album so much. I listened to it every single day for like 2 years.

This song had a fade-out in the album. I say that because you ought to imagine those last key changes fading into the distance. Thank you for listening to this.

that makes sense, thanks!

My favourite song of the Album and of my top favs of them!!

Some say Petrucci is just a shredder, well, this song (not just this one) proves he can be very soulful and melodic. People get fooled or are too superficial because there are so many rhytmic changes, among others, in their music. Just a wonderful piece of music.
@petrucci9732 жыл бұрын
Because they’re bunch of haters.. they have songs that last over 20 minutes and yet all they say is he’s just shredder.. says enough eh?

Not my favorite DT song but its really good. All of them world class musicians on their own instruments. There's so much to discover in each of their songs. No band can match them in my opinion.

Tried to be a Dream Theatre fan . Have multiple albums and live DVD 's Cannot get further than about 20/mins of an album to clinical and soulless for me. On the other hand I have seen them live 3 times (You see I do try) and I enjoyed them much more. I can say exactly the same for Marillion.
@deanwolfechannel2 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. DT are so technical. This tune was refreshingly more emotional feeling.
@rtrooperw81152 жыл бұрын
Clinical and soulless? Tells me all I need to k ow about you. You should just move on and not bother those of us that appreciate their brilliance. Glad you are in the minority.
@rickrank3212 жыл бұрын
I agree. Musically, I think they are good. But my eyes glaze over and my interest level falls off rapidly whenever there's singing. It's bland and, frankly, boring to me. Not much to differentiate it from any generic, run of the mill hard rock or alt band from the late 90's/2000s in terms of vocal range, variety, and overall sound.
@kookoo92352 жыл бұрын
How do you "try to be a fan" ? Either you like the stuff or you don't, there's hardly any need to force it. This band has quite a bit of preposterously good shit, quite a bit of garbage and some pretty mediocre stuff.
@mellotronin542 жыл бұрын
@@kookoo9235 I am a Portnoy fan and a fan of Prog as a whole so I seek out bands and artists that fit in this genre. I read about them bought the albums the live dvd's and went to see them . People were saying how good they are so I did the the thing and searched them out . And yes they did not move me. It has took me 40 years to appreciate Gentle Giant . I am never saying a band is bad just a personal very subjective statement that they just do not make me feel much.
