Damn man, that superior drummer patch is amazing, the only weak link I'd consider is the kick.

The time signatures really help. This is the only cover I’ve seen of this song with the time signatures listed.

Gregory Santone That's right: The TD-12 only has 2 AUX inputs. I'm using a second TD-12 module which I connected to my first one via MIDI.

@vdrummer4

My original reply to this comment somehow isn't linked to it, so let me explain it again. I'm using 2 TD-12 modules. Let's call them A and B. B's MIDI out goes into A's MIDI in. A is set to just pass MIDI signals it receives to its MIDI out without triggering sounds. A's MIDI out is connected to my audio interface which is connected to my laptop. This way I can use 2 modules with one laptop and one instance of Superior Drummer.

1:47 the time signature is actually 11/4 not 4/4 4/4 3/4. It sounds the same to the ear but that's how its actually written.

What is the difference between memorizing whole 140 time changes than memorizing the whole song?
@djevon4853
@djevon4853 3 жыл бұрын
If you memorize the song by ear, you know what your playing but not how it relates to your actual time pulse. If you learned the song from drum tab or sheet music, you would understand where you are based on pulse alone, thus making your timing and ability to improvise better.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO THE DRUMMERS OUT THERE THAT TIME SIGNATURE DOES NOT DETERMINE BEAT IT SIMPLY PROVIDES A MECHANISM FOR ORGANIZING IT VISUALLY!?!? I am going to burst a blood vessel in my forehead if these guys keep trying to school me on this shit
@gh8735

+Suresh Gaur fucking drummers these days, go to college and learn how to read or understand music. time signature is a system that helps the reader understand the music. if you were taught differently then change your teacher because of his lack of knowledge on the subject.
