You're a pro at making awesome lunches for Henry! Thanks for taking the time to share these videos and help the rest of us learn more about Type 1. You've got so much on your plate and you deal with it with such grace and patience. God bless you! Keep it up, Mama! You're doing great!

Hi, new to your channel. My daughter was newly diagnosed with type 1 at age 4 in January. Counting carbs is also part of our daily life. Thanks for the video.

Hi Amy :) You are doing such a wonderful job! I don't comment often, but I have been keeping you and yours in my prayers. I am not sure you remember, but you and I had a friendly debate about nuts in school....How your son needs them and my son has a life threatening allergy towards them? It was awhile ago. These videos always touch my heart, because we all have our own struggles and you, Amy, deal with them with such grace :) Your children are so lucky to have you as their Mom! Your lunches are great!

Hi Amy, do you have any tips for getting Henry to try new foods? I am impressed by the wide variety that he will eat! My son is 5, diagnosed last year and we have a hard time introducing new foods. Having diabetes we can no longer say eat it or leave it, he has to eat something and he has a very limited diet. He eats healthy but he wants to only eat the same thing every day!

With Henry having repeated lows during the week is that usually caused by something else is going on, such as coming down with a cold or the changing seasons?

What is the range he is supposed to be in that wouldn't be considered low or high?
