Bet you anything the boys that are playing in Las Vegas have decided to hit hard during their match. Just to hear the crowds reaction.

Neal you should have a look at Rugby Hits' "Till I Collapse" video 👍. Also don't forget Rugby League will be played in Las Vegas very shortly, 4 NRL teams are going over.

That number 16 that’s in your thumb nail is my cousin Simon Dwyer, He had one of the best hits of the 2010’s with that shot against JWH but unfortunately got hit with the worst injury you could get even as a human. He lost all the nerves down his left arm in a tackle, and instead of getting carted off he walked off and the damage got more worse. That injury caused him to retire very very young. Appreciate the recognition to NRL 🍻🇦🇺🇺🇸

Same thing happened to my middle son. he went in for a tackle at the same time his mate came in for the tackle directly opposite him. The collision between him and his mate drove his shoulder out his back. $11000 in medical bills with NRL contributing $2000 dollars of it. He chucked it in not long after when he ended up on crutches with another injury. Hookers have a hard life they say

Who did he play for, did you mean Jarrod Waerea Hargreaves.

Straight Outta Conciousness. Cheers bro for showing this. You don't usually get to see a lot of NRL's biggest hits. Straight bone on bone. Needless to say, they've outlawed a lot of those acts of attempted murder😂 God I love this game🇦🇺🍻

This is why I loved league in the 1st place. Big hits and Kevin Tamati scrapping Greg Dowling all them years ago. Got me hooked.❤
@stoneagepig376810 ай бұрын
Number 11 is the reason why the shoulder charge was banned. You won't see many hits like most of these in Vegas because a lot of them were shoulder charges. Guaranteed they'll be ripping into each other though

I remember seeing #11 live at the pub. The place absolutely lost it. They changed the rules because of it and half of the tackles in this video are now illegal

And not to forget, the sounds are not from plastic on plastic like in AF, but flesh and bone on flesh and bone! Some of the injuries can be nasty, one guy I know of got hit so hard, one of his eyeballs popped out completely!

Number 40. Paul “chief” Harrigan and Mark “spud” Carrol. Every single game they’d go at each other like that. Absolute lunatics.
@rachelroberson687110 ай бұрын
Hey Neal, The number 1 most brutal hit has not been shown. It left the player living the rest of his life in a wheelchair. It brought new rules to the game and was a great reminder as to why you dont tuck your head into your chest during a tackle. Love watching your videos with Kenzie
@sacco174410 ай бұрын
I’d say that’s a more unlucky hit than a brutal… I mean it’s brutal… but Alex did put his head down trying to get them a penalty, he should’ve just taken the tackle.

Thats our Australian game. My 2 older sons started playing at age 7 and my youngest son at age 4. Its a hard game to adapt to if you start playing at older ages when you arent used to it. Hope you see the Vegas games but they are the first games of the season so there will be a fair bit of rust

Unfortunately a bunch of players have EOD - early onset dementia, CTE - chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Parkinsons - similar to Muhammad Ali, and other brain injuries from repeated concussive injuries. It's a fantastic game, but some pay a really high price for their careers. Then again, don't we all pay a price as we age.

Had to laugh when the commentator said "Battle of the bantamweights". Bantamweight is around 54kg, these guys are at least 95kg, some upwards of 105kg. You won't find many bantamweights playing at this level!

I heard you mention "clotheslines" a few times. They don't actually have clotheslines in Rugby League because there's no women to hang the washing out to dry.

When you hit it's not about the crowd, the boys are going out their to win for the team, no one is playing to show off, this is league not gridiron where you think you're tough, I've played in Sydney for North Shore redbacks, in the trials we got told to leave Harris Efalaimo, Jim Paul and myself, objective coach told us to stop quarter back from throwing the ball at all costs, so we put the quarter back in hospital. Someone called us animals so Jim took his helmet off and head butted the biggest American who had his helmet on, and smashed him into Mars. Even our smallest players pull off big hits, the games not for the faint hearted.
