Great video. I personally, love IMC flying, of course, when there is no icing. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you; fair weather, and safe flights.

Thanks, Cyrous. Yeah, icing scares the crap out of me. Guess that's a good thing - means I'll never mess with it.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for your videos you've inspired me to take my PPL

I enjoy the IFR ride along and I’ve been cloud surfing in a Honda jet and love it as well as you on this amazing flight

It really is cool to see. I imagine it’s a bit different at 35000’ vs 5000’. 😀

Another great video! So cool to see how your comfort and proficiency in IFR flight keeps increasing!
@WingsOverTO11 ай бұрын
Thanks, Richard! It is amazing how quickly you lose the proficiency, though - a month away from flying after this flight and I felt like I was always behind the plane.

Great video! .. Always fun to operate a small piston in between all of the airliners and biz jets :-)

Agreed! Now if I could just find a way to get a photo of my plane lined up in front of an A380 on a taxiway. :)

FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! These are the best IFR videos I have seen... I love them, keep them coming! I enjoy how you show you use your plane for great cross country experiences

Looks nice buddy. I think I put 40 hours in my Sierra this year. Watching a baby all day long then working nights has killed flying for me. After a 6,300 repair in October I was finally able to go out last weekend and run it up while my family was out of town. I sure hope next year gets better for my flying time wise. It's been rough. Merry Christmas!

40 isn’t too bad - more than most, I think! It made me wonder where I’m at for this year. I was surprised to see I’m at about 58 - I thought it would be less. I hope you get up more often next year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Awesome video. I wish I had AP in mine. I did an IFR flight out of KSNA last week. Literally, held short of the rwy for 30 mins before they let me go. 😂
@WingsOverTO11 ай бұрын
Ouch, was that waiting for an opening between landing planes? Yeah, the AP makes a ton of difference, I'm so grateful my plane has one.

Another well done video and the timing is amazing. I dropped my plane off just outside of Cleveland last night in order to resolve a wing de-ice boot issue. Sitting in the Cleveland airport waiting for my flight to o Toronto and starting to plan my return trip and flight back home hopefully next week. I had not thought about clearing in Windsor but now I might consider it. Was it a quick easy process? I still haven’t made it to Nashville but I stopped in Chattanooga yesterday for a fuel stop and weather check. I have not been there for years so I figured if I had to stay there I could catch up on the changes. Season’s Greetings.
@WingsOverTO11 ай бұрын
Hey Terry, thanks for watching as always! Yeah, the process of clearing in Windsor was dirt simple. I’ve got the CanPass thing so I basically just land, sit in my plane until the assigned time passes, and if nobody comes out to the plane, I’m good to go. If you don’t have CanPass, it’s just a matter of calling up the CBSA and talking to them for a couple of minutes for your clearance. It’s pretty rare that they actually send someone out to your plane (although it has happened to me once, back in Oshawa). Hope the wing de-ice boot issue is an easy and quick one to fix!
