I began watching your channel several months ago. In August, I saw my doctor, was overweight and had an A1c of 10.8. She prescribed a new diabetes medication that was going to cost $500/month. I immediately went on a ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting. I saw her for a 3-month check today. I'm 14 lbs lighter and my A1c came in at 6.5. I'm over the moon. she predicts I'll be at 5.2 in another 3 months and can start coming off medications. I'm 77 years old.

I used euLyte for several months when I first started carnivore, back in January 2024. I struggled to figure out why I was having strong sugar cravings when I was ingesting no carbs! EuLyte is a flavored product that’s sweetened with stevia. That was what was causing me to white-knuckle through cravings. I stopped using it and began more heavily salting meals (only meat). Still to taste, not going beyond good flavor. The cravings STOPPED and I continue to feel great. I would have continued using euLyte if you offered an unflavored/unsweetened version. For those of us for whom a sweet taste causes cravings, euLyte is not an option.

I just bought your Eulyte lemon and lime and also tested Berg., they are good, but very expensive for Canadians! Because we probably have to pay 2 taxes, the Canadian one of course, but probably the US one. Because your price surely includes a tax included in the sale price of $60 if it exists. But your price also includes shipping to the US. So when I order it for Canada, the US price of $60 is of course in Canadian dollars, but we have to add the big shipping costs of $30 more. So I pay twice for shipping for 200 km more. The price should be without the US shipping included in the price and then charge the shipping costs for Canada, so pay for my shipping once! Or go through Amaz camada which would be more advantageous for customers and you too I think! I paid Total = $137 Can or $1.53 Can per portion!

I can’t afford electrolytes atm. So my body suffers due to my financial situation. I just eat natural foods and don’t eat processed foods. I rather go broke buying green fed grass finish ground (mince) beef or a steak than junk food. I spend my money on sports, fitness, etc. At least I can save money by avoiding doctors 😊

You really only need salt to prevent dehydration

I use Jocko stuff. I really enjoy the Jocko Hydrate fruit punch, no artificial colors, monk fruit/allulose instead, methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin, clean and quality. I don't season my food with salt 95% of the time regardless though. Spices, unsalted butter, etc instead. The Jocko stuff tastes good and won't give me cancer.

I have had hyperparathyroidism for 20 plus years. My blood calcium is too high which leads me to severe painful hand and foot cramps in the afternoons and evenings. I have been using Morton Lite salt to help alleviate the issues. The ingredients are salt, potassium chloride, calcium silicate, magnesium carbonate, dextrose and potassium iodide. It pretty much has all the major ingredients of these electrolytes except the trace elements. It's about $3 for 11 oz.

In the UK I use 'Rival'. Good ingredient types, eg Calcium lactate. No sweetener. Sodium a bit high vs potassium.

I was giving a megadose of magnesium via my IV to deal with severe migraine pain less than 2 weeks ago at the ER. I have not heard of the Liquid IV brand until watching this video and wonder if they have named it that to try to trick people into thinking it's a medication. Many people might fall for something like that. I was in the ER because one cannot tell if having a stroke or just having a migraine without having a CT scan. When I got home I checked my bottle of magnesium citrate and it was merely 100gm (24%) per pill. You have informed your viewers before that Mg is a good pain killer. I couldn't remember your name at the time Dr Ekberg, but the ER doctor agreed quite strongly and said they use it for it quite often.

Thank you so much for this info. Very timely! I was shopping for an alternative electrolyte after learning about maltodextrin in LMNT. I bought Dr Berg's and will buy yours to try the taste. It would be great if you would do an analysis between yours and Dr Berg's electrolyte. You are fantastic!!

I was excited about the euLyte, but as you addressed the sketchy ingredients, you did not mention that the euLyte contains silicon dioxide, which many people need to avoid. I'd like to hear your comments on why that ingredient is in your product, please?

Which people need to avoid silicone dioxide, and why?
@BillyBoy66Ай бұрын
As to "why" silicone dioxide is in the product, it's a commonly used anti-caking agent in powdered products to help keep the powder from clumping.
@DDeden28 күн бұрын
Silicon dioxide is finely crushed sand.

I've been using liquid IV bought from Costco. I must say it has worked really well for me (long endurance cyclist and other sports). It's helped my recovery, post exercise headaches, cramps, etc. This means I'll now test out Eulyte, and hopefully get even better results!

Great video once again... Have been using euLyte for a while and I love it. I workout usually after 14 hours of fasting and take it to avoid dehydration... However I see now that there is a lot more to it. I thought it was a bit pricey at first but it's definitely high quality and when you break it down to unit cost is quite good actually. I will definitely continue using it

You can easily make your own electrolyte mix from KCl, NaCl, and magnesium citrate. The amount of calcium is small and you get that from many other sources. It cost about 5 cents a serving, for one liter of water this way. No other ingredients, flavor yourself to taste. Sweat Ionic composition is easily found online.

liquid IV uses sugar to mimic pedialyte drinks made to rehydrate rapidly. so, for an everyday supplement or a pre-workout, the sugar is a negative. but, when you’ve overdone it and you’re battling dehydration, liquid IV is excellent. i would say for occasional use only rather than just, “it has sugar, it’s bad.” it’s just a different purpose.

Hi Dr. Eckberg. Can the calcium in this lend itself to kidney stones? I had one and my urologist told me to avoid any calcium supplements and only ingest calcium from my diet. Would this be safe? Thank you Dr. Eckberg. God Bless you for all you do in excellence for others.
