Ok, so this is supposed to be water resistant BUT, the USB port is exposed and they dont give you a rubber plug or anything to protect it? What say you?

The black rubber avoid splash upwards which should also protect the Charger port from guetting water

I love mine, I just wish it lasted longer or had replacable batteries. I hope they come out with a XL version, slightly bigger and longer lasting or replacable batteries. That would make it 10x better in my opinion. Ive never gotten more then 30mins out of mine doing heavy cleaning. But I just go do something else if I say have a couple bathrooms or a few jobs for it.
@ToolReviewZone6 жыл бұрын
Hey DRed, 30 minutes is actually not bad considering they say it will only last around 15 for heavy cleaning. Great point you make about the battery!

Tool price is reasonable. But replacement pads are as much as the tool itself. Seems like the pad you used on the grill was nearly shot after one use. Any info on life of the pads would be helpful. thanks!
@hawleygriffon92902 жыл бұрын
I wonder if this model is being discontinued as several places have them clearance priced at 50% off. I bought one several months ago but have only used it in the bathroom to remove tub grime. It works well but I do wish we could use bigger pads. A job like buffing wax on a car would very next to impossible given the small pad area. Thanks for the video...

Yeah. You can buy pads and just use your drill. Tight space? Use your right angle drill attachment or right angle drill... Or use an air compressor. IF you don't have a drill, go buy a 20v combo tool kit. At least you can then swap batteries... If you need to get really small or tight spaces, you aren't going to reach with this. All a tool like this will be is a dead battery you can't swap out therefore a dead tool in a drawer. Try to have all of your tools use the same battery and you will not have these problems. Believe me, buy this and you will just be knocking on someone else's door to borrow their tools...

Hey Paul it ranges. On a heavy cleaning job you'll get about 15 to 20 minutes. For lighter cleaning, it can go up to an hour. Hope this helps
@CReview4U6 жыл бұрын
FYI, they sell a barbecue handheld wire bristle brush made just for cleaning that grate. You use it to rub over the grill after you're done grilling; then you won't have to buy those pads over & over again. Save that tool for something like the bathtub & sink, which I'm hoping it will work for since cleaning the tub is always a chore.
@ToolReviewZone6 жыл бұрын

Best tool for cleaning a grill is an onion cut in half. On a hot grill, the steam is sulfuric acid and helps remove crap. Have some crumpled up aluminum foil and run that across the grill and between onion and foil, your grill bars will never be a nasty surface. So, cut up an onion, save half uncut, and use it just like a scrubbing pad, obviously with the grill bar direction... Follow with foil, repeat if needed. Works best on a hot grill, be careful not to burn yourself - and clearly turn the grill off while you do this...

I just bought a Dremel Versa. My experience started very well at unpacking, with this magnificent blue semi-rigid shell. Afterwards, I found that cardboard as a separator reflected an unhappy economic wish, but my enthusiasm dropped when I saw that the charger was only USB. This is absolutely anything, we are not going to charge this device on the USB port of his computer, it's absurd. Today I used the material loaded completely on a large plastic pot, with the tip allowing to remove the cement flows as indicated in the instructions. I have never pressed hard, so that the device does not stop. I am very disappointed, the battery has a continuous autonomy of 10 minutes. I haven't done half the work. I imagine that to wax 5 pairs of shoes I would have done it faster by hand ...

Milwaukee cordless scrubber? no such thing
@goodun29745 жыл бұрын
@@phiksit , I have a whole bunch of Milwaukee cordless tools including the oscillating multi tool, it should be possible to stick a custom-cut scrubber pad to the bottom of it with Velcro ( instead of the usual triangular sandpaper or other attachments). But it wouldn't be as ergonomic or handy to use, especially by your wife or somebody in the house cleaning the shower or bath tub and so on. A Milwaukee cordless random- orbital palm sander would probably be the "bees knees" when it comes to cleaning if you were able to outfit it with stick-on scrub pads. I don't own one of those yet, but I will have to consider it ( I already have batteries and chargers and I would only need to buy the tool itself). The Dremel Palm sized scrubber works fairly well, but I only got about 10 to 15 minutes out of the batteries, and I put a piece of duct tape over the charge port because I didn't want even a smidgen of soapy water or vinegar cleaning solution to get inside of it. I can see that charging set up being a particular failure point, an Achilles heel, so to speak...
