I grow my own broccoli sprouts (super easy). After they mature, I layer them in a glass bread pan and freeze them. Freezing them is supposed to double the amount of sulforaphane. Then I use a sharp edged metal spatula to slice off 1-2 inches, and add it to my morning smoothie.

Due to severe poisoning from urea formaldehyde as a young child I've been struggling to detox my entire life. Many of the foods you listed are huge no-no's for me. High histamine reaction. I do have CIRS (non mold related) with a toxic and damaged vagus nerve. That has lead to many ICU stays for SIRS. Not 1 doctor has actually ever truly helped me. They don't understand what is happening. Just scratched their heads and threw meds at me to suppress symptoms. I've outlived expections by 2 decades Despite their guidance. 3yrs ago I was at my end. According to them. I was given weeks. Chronic organ failure and internal bleeding. My husband brought me to a tropical island in anticipation of my last days. In doing so he saved my life. I spent every day on the beach. In a week I just Felt better. In a month I started tossing pharmaceuticals I'd been on for decades. And I started researching....Im still working at getting better. But I'm still kicking against All odds. I do need some guidance still. If anyone has suggestions on who to contact I'd greatly appreciate it.

I would highly recommend that you continue avoiding those criminals at all cost and unless you absolutely have to I would never visit them ever again. I would consider doing what I did around 10 years ago and just look up what is toxic and everything in your environment and avoid those things pretty much everything that surrounds you will fit that so you need to avoid pretty much all of it. This is why I always keep a window open in my bedroom or anywhere I go I always have airflow from the outside coming and even your carpet is made from polyester. Make sure you buy clothes that are made from wool or organic cotton. I prefer wool as it is the most superior fabric of any fabric type in the world in every aspect virtually. Avoid plastic and avoid consuming any foods that come in packaging only eat organic food and even if it is organic, make sure that you thoroughly wash it in fact 10 years ago I was only eating organic foods that had a peel so foods like onions, lemons, bananas, stuff like that avocados etc. when you shower, make sure you shower with at least reverse osmosis water, but even better distilled water that you distill yourself from reverse osmosis or just get a distiller and use bottled water in the distiller or just buy distilled water and wash yourself that way because tapwater is insanely bad. The paint in your house also off gases in pretty much any artificial material that didn’t grow from the ground is going to off gas. It’s hard at first understanding all of these things and researching it but once you get a hold on it, it becomes second nature, and you find a lot of happiness in avoiding all of it. I would recommend getting a piece of land and building your own house away from traffic and other toxins.

Great topic. Research is hard to find on this topic. I was diagnosed eight years ago with heavy metals. This was after twenty years of multi medical appointment trying to find out what was wrong with me. I had most of the signs. Finally, I found a natural path orthopedic doctor who was educated on toxic metals. My levels on several were over the charts. The charts could not read them. My endocrinologist and internist both worked together and said they would have never figured this out. Chelation took over a year. Then, because my levels were so high, I was advised to have my levels tested again a few years after the chelation. They were extremely high again, which was to be expected. Again, on chelation, it took over two more years. I highly recommend everyone who watched this video to share this information with family and friends. Please continue to upload educational videos like this!

The first time, I was on EDTA, DMSA, and Chlorella. The second time, I am on DMSA, chlorella caps, and prophyra-Zyme. I would take the edta and dsma 20 days on 10 off. Both times, my diet was important to add fermented foods, eliminate sugars, processed foods, and gluten. Even though these were seldom in my diet, for me, this was important because I have reactions when eating them. Because EDTAAnd DSMA both binds to essential minerals. Because of this flushing, I took vitamins and minerals twice a day. Taking them once a day did not work for me and left me exhausted, fatigue, and feeling like I was going to pass out most of the time. The process is exhausting but necessary. Because my levels were over the charts on multiple metals, I also now have a Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System. My Dr highly recommends this.

Both times, I was seen by a nature pathic doctor. I would suggest phoning severa or contacting a functional medical doctor in your area to see if they are knowledgeable. Several Dr and NP in my area are not. I did try cilantro, which I felt did not work for me. Maybe because my levels were extremely high and it was talking a long time to lower them. A friend of mine and his girlfriend did take cilantro, and it worked for them.

I take dried parsley and cilantro almost daily as part of my ‘standard diet’ when breaking a fast and during time restricted feeding, so good to know that cilantro has additional detox benefits. The big one you failed to cover is chlorella (and I would add spirulina). Chlorella has some of the best detox properties of any natural supplement, and I’ve been taking it daily for a long time as such.

@inittiela4934
@inittiela4934 4 ай бұрын
@@sgtaneja its not true, because methionine is converted to homocysteine only when there is need for methyl products like creatine/cysteine etc so just heaving a lot of methionine in body doeasnt mean high homocysteine and cysteine is end product that you want to get using methylation in case of detoxification so you are wrong
@sgtaneja
@sgtaneja 4 ай бұрын
@inittiela4934 Methionine is converted to homocysteine in absence of methylation support. Methylation support can be provided by methyl b12, folate, p5p, betaine, choline and glycine.
@inittiela4934
@inittiela4934 4 ай бұрын
@@sgtaneja methionine is always converted to homocysteine because cysteine is produced from homocysteine and rest of not used homocysteine is remethylated back to methionine using those nutrients that you mentioned using folate and choline pathways, dont think of homocysteine as some evil byproduct because it isnt and most of your methylation is stored as methionine and used when there is need for that

From a culinary & horticultural standard... Cilantro is the vegetative leaves of the plant. Coriander is the dried seeds from the same plant.🕵 Also, if cilantro tastes like soap to you, it's because you lack a specific enzyme to break it down.🤷 🍻

While I believe things like cilantro are great chelators, it does have a single receptor bond. With single receptor bonds, we have to be careful because substances such as mercury have a higher affinity to sulfhydryl groups such as in the kidneys. These substances, especially Mercury, can lose their bond and come loose and end up in the kidney. Substances that can trap heavy metals such as triple peptide Matrix bonders or oxygen types of detox such as chlorine dioxide solution which actually takes an electron from the molecule and renders it a whole different substance and becomes harmless would be your best way to go. I have been doing this for years and have helped many people. With detox you have to be very careful as some people can have a bad reaction to cilantro. So you want something that can trap the heavy metal and not release it. Cilantro and other single bonds should be used in tandem with Zeolite or Fullerene to make sure it does not leaving one part of the body such as the brain and end up somewhere else such as the kidneys.

But don't buy the power it tastes nasty buy the capsules.

Coriander (Cilantro) does not Bind/Chelate, it mobilizes, and if you don't take something to Bind/Chelate it will just redistribute causing you to be poisoned all over again. Turmeric also causes Thiols to rise (bad for those that are Mercury poisoned). Turmeric causes me to have migraines, and I use the organic root so the best of the best.

@danielpalanki3129
@danielpalanki3129 6 ай бұрын
@@ethereal369 You have to bind mercury within the cells where they usually are, not in your digestive tract. Activated charcoal won't get into the blood circulation(thankfully), just goes through the digestive tract and bind some poisonous substances there, that's it. Some Mercury can indeed be found within the intestines but most accumulates elsewhere, like in the brain cells. Mercury can be bound to organosulfur compounds like ALA, OSR/NBMI/Irminix, Cilantro, NAC, Chlorella, intravenous glutathione, etc. The safest among them is OSR, the less reliable is ALA, the rest are rather bad than good and there is a lot of negative feedback about them when they were used in chelation therapies. The above mentioned compounds tend to bind Mercury temporarily, except for OSR, which renders Mercury inert forever after picking it up and it can be eliminated safely from where they are accumulated by the body's own detox mechanisms(Mercury alone can also be eliminated but it takes decades if those mechanisms work to some degree, so it's much much slower than with chelation). So the rest are also able to pick them up but they tend to release Mercury randomly within the blood stream, which causes redistribution issues which is to be avoided. ALA is somewhat safe in that regard if you keep Andy Cutler's Mercury protocol strictly, but still not 100% reliable. The rest... just stay away from them if you have high level of Mercury toxicity and don't want to feel yourself worse or even bedridden for a long time.

The most effective and natural way to detox heavy metals that i know is by taking a Trace mineral supplement with both fulvic and humic acid, mineral deficiency is the reason why we get heavy metal toxic and food nowadays is too depleted in minerals, also if you have bad digestion and parasites you absorb even less minerals from your diet! @roblovegreen

Blood tests show nothing in regards to heavy metals like mercury because the mercury is sequestered in the tissues. You need a “challenge test” where they give you a chelating agent like DMSA via IV then you collect your urine for several hours. The lab tests will analyze the amount in your urine after the chelating agent has pulled it from your tissues. Go to a integrative physician for this because they know how to administer it safely along with restoring other good minerals that will be pulled out in the process.

A naturopath explained to me that standard blood tests for metal toxicity are not always accurate as the body is extremely efficient at ensuring it’s own survival by quickly removing the toxic substances from the blood and storing them in bones, brain, hair, tissue, etc. This explains why during the chelation process (where the heavy metals bind with the chelator) symptoms can exacerbate as the toxins are brought back through the circulatory system for elimination. Hair tissue analysis is tool used by naturopaths to reveal heavy metal toxicity.

Dear Dr Berg! I've been following you for quite a while and you have helped me a lot! Today I have a question that I guess nobody has asked - insect toxicity!!! In Germany, where I live, we are having massive problems with Thaumetopoea processionea! Not only the oak trees suffer, humans suffer as well. I live in a village in the woods with lots of old big oak trees. we all have health problems - eye and lung infections. people cough, develop red itchy running eyes, they are constantly tired, quite a few are on sick leave - they cannot function anymore. The local government does some spraying now and then but it doesn't seem to work. Are there any plant remedies that would help us to get through the summer and stay sane and be able to function?
