@@thomasengel1459 Sorry but since mass production of eggs and exposure to salmonella poisoning, I would not trust eating raw. From the Mayo Clinic regarding salmonella poisoning: Raw eggs. While an egg's shell may seem to be a perfect barrier to contamination, some infected chickens produce eggs that contain salmonella before the shell is even formed. Anymore, it is not unusual for chickens to have salmonella and be acceptable for the USDA (wow how our standards have declined) and they simply advise consumers to thoroughly cook chicken and it kills the bacteria, so the eggs could easily be contaminated too and not know it.

I have taken Lecithin capsules for 30 years, along with capsules of a herbal liver builder/cleanser. My doctor told me that I am the only woman he knows of, who has had as many children as I have, who still has her gallbladder. It has become a habit, but sometimes I forget how many wonderful things Lecithin does. On the other hand I get headaches when I eat eggs. I can get away with eating yolks once a week, but not everyday. Eggs everyday make me feel heavy. Since a child I only ate the yoke. I found out that a biotin deficiency causes this problem with eggs. Seems strange since I have taken brewers yeast (which is Vita B) tabs for just about as many years as the Lecithin. So now I take biotin separately. Our bodies are unique. Do you have an idea on why I cannot get biotin out of a good quality brewer's yeast?

yes and no. the quality of lecithin is important. if you get a high quality (maybe liposomal) phospholipid complex, i guess it might be true.
@TW-il4vy2 жыл бұрын
You're better off sticking with citicoline or alpha-gpc because lecithin will increase more TMAO.
@meggi80482 жыл бұрын
@@TW-il4vy lecithin or eggs is contradictory some studys claim. they say its mostly for artificial cholin like in carnitin supplements or cholin tartrat. didnt figure this for lecithin nor eggs.

Disappointed after watching this, I thought I found a good unflavoured whey isolate protein powder which contains 3 things: whey protein isolate, soy Lecithin, sunflower lecithin. I won't be buying it after finding out soy lecithin and the hexane/gmo connection. Could you please comment on sunflower lecithin?

I have been recently diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis and I have been following your content from past two years. I have a hope that keto diet helps in this situation as well, but couldn't find much information on your channel regarding keto benefits and Ankylosing Spondylitis. Can you please share some light on Ankylosing Spondylitis and Keto benefits?

Keep asking and hopefully he'll see your question. He also has a FB page where others help answer questions. I had lupus and keto/IF ended the symptoms. You've probably seen his videos on the spine. These two; kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWLXc62cbMp2q8k kzbin.info/www/bejne/poW5l3h4n7mKj6c I saw that AS is an auto immune arthritis on a site called creaky joints.org, this video might help; kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHqzqaiDrZhkerM Dr. Berg has other videos on auto immune info. I hope this helps. :o)

I eat two egg yolks with my daily meal. I discard the whites and just cook those yolks in butter 🧈 . I may up that to three yolks 😊. Thanks Dr. Berg.

Why waste the whites?! 🤦🏽♀️
@JasonBuckman Жыл бұрын
1) Why waste the whites? 2) Raw egg yolk is better. Only the whites should be cooked. Since yoh are discarding that, there is no reason to cook the yolk and damage it.

I was considering buying PS for memory problems. Is purchasing Lecithin (from sunflowers seeds) just as good - It is quite a bit cheaper in price. My Mom took Lecithin for lowering cholesterol and she was sharp as a tack well into her eighties. Hmm!!
