That was two months ago. I’ve been doing low carb, high fat, intermittent fasting…dropped 30 pounds, got my sugar down to 6.5. My glucose is at 117. And I know this is coming down, along with my A1C. I’m seeing my heart doc this coming week. He isn’t going to be happy with what I’m gonna tell him. Sugar pill, gone. Statin, gone! I’m not going backwards!! I’ll be low carb (30-40g) forever.

Actually, passed a certain age high LDL is associated with longevity, in several observational studies. It's also been shown that LDL particles are involved in the immune response. They can for instance bind to some pathogen antigens and thus help with their clearance by the liver. So LDL is not necessarily the vilain that the big pharma corrupted medical dogma has been painting all along. We really need to do our own research rather than just saying amen to drug dealers.

OMG I had at least a decade of burning sensation on my feet starting at about 35 y.o. Not one doctor seemed to take me seriously, always stating the blood tests showed I'm perfectly healthy. 20 years later, I notice that when I drink or eat too much sugar, my feet tend to have that numbing pain. So I keep using my diet and following advise from people like you, and Anthony William, et al, and when I'm consistent my health improves. I have suddenly lower chol. & higher trygl. this last year.
@kdrum902 жыл бұрын
Burning/numbling is an indication of ongoing neurological issues. Wherever that happens keto is always a way to go. Besides keto, a light exercise (walking) helps a lot. And vitamins, especially B1 (benfotiamine). B1 should be taken in therapeutic doses to have any effect on neuropathy. For benfotiamine, it is 150 mg per day and higher. Works best when taken in conjunction with multivitamin and magnesium in one shot after the meal.

Anyone can quickly figure out the AHA is 100% wrong that dietary cholesterol doesn't cause heart disease, if you eat a poor diet, you have a very high chance of getting heart disease, but if you eat a healthy diet you have a very low chance of getting heart disease. You have to remember the AHA is captured by big pharma, their guidelines and their statements are designed to get everyone on a statin, despite the fact that the number needed to treat for statins is over 100. You may have saved my life. I just found out that I have severe stenosis in my left vertebral artery. I suspect it all started with a head / neck injury after an MVA long ago. I’ve been having burning in my legs. I’m really concerned. So glad I stopped sugar!

Dr Berg, the AHA journal that you reference in the link is discussing dietary cholesterol which as you know is different from serum cholesterol. I just wanted to bring it to your attention as it confused me. Love all your videos...been watching for a couple of years now and have taken your information to heart. No pun intendend.. Thank you for all the excellent information you provide.

Superb! Best easy-to-follow educational video I've seen so far on this incredibly important topic. Quick question: I've been on clean keto since 7/1 - seeing tremendous results. A recent NMR LipoProfile showed small particle LDL in the mid-range. Given I'm burning off so much stored fat, should I expect the reduction in small particle LDL to take some time before it drops to the lower range? Thanks again for all you do. You are literally a national lifesaver contributing more to America's health than the vast majority of practitioners.
