Parroting Dr Berg notes as i usually do best: Vitamin D is the most important vitamin! It’s a fat-soluble vitamin involved in 10% of our genetics. Vitamin D won’t work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you’ll need. Some negative side effects associated with vitamin D, such as nausea, heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and headaches, are actually symptoms of a magnesium deficiency. Don’t take vitamin D without the important cofactor, vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium, but you need vitamin K2 to drive it into the bones and teeth to keep it out of the soft tissues. Vitamin K2 is best for calcium buildup. Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3. Zinc is another important cofactor that helps you convert cholesterol into vitamin D. If you’re taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D, you should also take 20 mg of zinc. One of the biggest vitamin D mistakes is not taking enough! You need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day. Vitamin D2 does not work like vitamin D3. The vitamin D detected in the blood is not the active form. This means you could have normal blood levels of vitamin D but still have vitamin D deficiency. Statins and steroids can inhibit your ability to make vitamin D and its ability to work in your body. The best time to get vitamin D from the sun is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

Once I started taking magnesium a few things started to improve. Doctors never talk about vitamins or supplements. In fact, I realized that in all the years of discussing statins, the only thing discussed was how my LDL wasn't at goal. Also dark green leafy greens (like spinach, kale, collards...) add magnesium to your diet. As complicated as hemoglobin and chlorophyll are, there is only one difference between their molecules: their CENTERS. Hemoglobin's center is IRON; Chlorophyll's center is MAGNESIUM. Therefore, all your body needs to do to get hemoglobin while ingesting chlorophyll is to remove the magnesium, replacing it with iron. Eat your greens, follow up with an apple 🍎 or red meat to build your blood.

Good tips! One other suggestion: Some folks may have genetic variants that reduce their ability to utilize vitamin D. Some of these (pretty rare) are so serious they are diagnosed in childhood, but others are more subtle. You can have "normal" levels of D and still have all the risks of someone who is deficient. This can be confirmed genetically (usually CYP2R1, VDR, and/or CYP27B1 genes), but one easy indicator (confirm results with your doctor) is to get 24-OH D and PTH (parathyroid hormone) tested at the same time. These should be in an inverse ratio. Generally, when your body is getting enough D (25 OH D above the middle of the range), your PTH will be below the middle of the normal range. Because I have some vitamin D resistance, I try to keep my PTH in the middle of the lower third of the reference range by supplementing D (and K2 MK7 and magnesium citrate) and checking the ratio every few months. I started at 10k IU/day, and now I'm stabilized at 3 50K and 4 5K supplements a week - about 24k IU/day.

I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT EXCEPT TO PUT THE MACHINE IN THE TRASH. I LATER BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE SEVERE PAIN IN MY LEFT LEG AND STILL DO, AND WENT TO THE DR. AND FINALLY TOOK AN MRI WHICH SHOWED A BONE SPUR DEVELOPING ON MY LEFT HIP JOINT. SO I NOW SUFFERE WITH THAT AS A RESULT. I TAKE MANY SUPPLEMENTS AND HAVE FOR YEARS, KEEPING ME ALIVE I GUESS. 46 is not old.
@satojoko34892 ай бұрын
@@dontrend5956 depends on which country you're living in, what your daily life is like, as well as access to nutritious food & so on. Our age in years is not the same as our biological age either. I see obese children eating highly processed diets in 'developed countries' like the US who will be 'old' & dead at a very young age if things don't turn around for them. I also have seen very young children in 'developing countries' hunched over like elderly people due to the hard labour they have to perform to keep their families fed.

Yes! Vitamin D won’t work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate. The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you’ll need!

When greed encourages playing with people’s health so blatantly, and more broadly everyday, you just have to wonder how self-hating do those people have to be? Benefiting from others suffering (there are millions who can’t afford vitamins,) is not sanity or humane. Also, I’m sticking up on everything I can before January 6th. Who knows what will take place and I’ll use it eventually.
