I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder (calcification and crystallization build up from an injury that “holds” the bone stiff; very painful). The doctor told me that it would take nine months with therapy, medication, a steroid injection and even surgery to heal. I accepted therapy and the anti-inflammatory/pain med but, rejected the steroid injection and surgery. In addition, I started taking turmeric curcumin and K2+D3 vitamins (after I stoped taking the pain meds in 3 weeks). Also, I immediately did a 3 days water fast, followed by OMAD (to induce growth hormones and autophagy). Long story short; I was completely recovered in less than two months.
@Antman-nf3tq4 жыл бұрын
I work in pt and diet is a big factor no one talks about. I dont recommend injections unless its a last resort for intolerable pain. As far as frozen shoulder, the adhesions need to be broken and range of motion needs to be continually worked on for a few months, then strengthened up afterwards. Keep stretching, moving, and doing pt exercises because not using the shoulder is probably how it got frozen to begin with.

nice little zinger he put in there. rest, relaxation and natural terpenes (natural walks by dappled sun .. near tree edges) has been found to increase healing times in western canadian studies. (2018/19/20) something about scattered light and the D / K2 synergies seems to be the key. honeycomb casts were starting to be available the last time I needed a cast (1980). wish I could have tried that out back then, as the structure allowed light and air to circulate vs a dark environment. certain cannabis strains have also shown to decrease heal times as well .. but finding a doctor versed in that is still a little tricky. eliminating exposure to wifi networks is one perk of a hospital setting, but bring in your own foods. at home, turn off the network while resting / sleeping for increased recovery times / some savvy IT people install power bars with battery powered timers / but turn off wifi and bluetooth before bed on electronics .. and place them at least six feet away from your body (as well). one day I will find a way to block neighborhood wifi, since faraday cages are not a practical solution for most. high grain diets block zinc and other trace minerals, so eat as clean as you can (always).

Wasn’t really expecting to have this splint on for that long and I don’t know if that is due to my age(73). My knee is nearly pain free now but the splint is torture. One week after my leg was broken, I used a wrap to reduce my swelling by 50% in 13 minutes. I wrapped the foot moderately tight and gradually reduced the tightness as I wrapped toward the knee, this facilitated a directional flow to squeeze the excess fluid from my leg. During the 13 minutes, I often touched my toes to be sure that they were not numb from lack of circulation.

I firmly believe my fasting regimen + good nutrition both before and during made my snapped wrist from a snowboarding accident into a mere minor inconvenience. Inflammation was already under control, so I took no meds after day 2 or 3 (not even ibuprofen!). Regeneration was that of a teenager! I could feel it healing immediately day by day. I'm also a triathlete, which is a discipline that has put me in touch with not only nutrition, but also pain and it's purpose. It's not just a scary, bad thing, but another part of the body itself (unless it is excruciating, of course, then it reaches a tipping point of becoming too stressful on the mind and body). It's there to let me know if any of my movements are damaging to the healing. I actually appreciated understanding the location and nature of the fractures by internal feel. The pain never exceeded a 2 or 3. Pain with a purpose- I am ok with.

This video is great for educational purposes, something missing in this video is the anti blood clot medicine that usually being prescribed by orthopedic Surgeon. Is this anti blood clot not an important factor to be part of the healing process? Also the Anti blood clot usually reacted negatively with Vit K, therefore the consumption of Vitamin K should be limited or monitored closely.

Dear Dr. Berg and audience. I just got out of surgery (yesterday) sever pain at first. First thing that came out the surgeon's mouth besides saying my ankle was repaired with screws and all went great is that he also had bad news. "Your bones are super week and perhaps in a year from now you'll fall and there won't be much we can do". We will put you on medication to rectify this. I'm 60 years young, I watch my diet and yes, I'm not perfect but I know I can improve. Instead of him saying hey lets talk about what you're eating....Noooo lets push you onto meds. I am so disgusted at our health practitioners here in Ontario Canada. Its all about feeding their bank accounts with big Pharma. I am not on any medications therefore in the hospital I was labeled the "natural girl" as if it was a disease. They sent me home with enough drugs to kill a horse. I feel great today even though I have a cast that I must wear for the next 2 weeks. Then I'll get re x-rayed, cast removed and into an Aircast. Dr. Berg, I must say that you and any one who practices great natural health are our hero's. Without you guys we have to resort to our ancestors. Which I am super happy that I listen to my gut instincts. These mongering buffoons, that are brain washed into thinking, that they will get away with their disgusting tactics, will hopefully all die off soon. Once again Dr. Berg, thank you from the bottom of my Heart. You Rock! Viva la Difference!

This is a good video for older people to strengthen bone so as not to fracture, a major health risk for the older population.

I live a keto lifestyle. Had a hip pinning surgery. I lift the cover of my dinner tray that night to a big plate of pasta with red sauce. Already had heartburn from the morphine. Sent my husband out to Chipotle for a double meat bowl, no rice or beans.

I use the illustration of repaving a road. The ostioclasts like the grinding machine remove the old bone fragments then the ostioblasts like the paving machine lay down new bone. Pain is the orange barrels that tell you not to drive in the construction zone.

Should add in wild caught salmons or sardines or Omega-3 fish oil supplements as well.
