A year ago I had the usual symptoms so I sought a urologist, he said I needed a TURP procedure, He said go away and think about it, so I did, I decided to research the natural way to reduce my symptoms, I lost weight, exercised more, cleaned up my eating habits and pelvic strengthening. Last week I went to see another urologist just for a check up, he said yes your prostrate is enlarged but you are emptying your bladder and your stream is ok, see you in a years time. I can be done.

Cutting out all carbs was a revelation for me; not just better bladder and inflammation issues but I ceased having food cravings/being hungry (and 'hangry') all the time, I had more mental clarity, better mood, better digestion/bowels. I'm still vulnerable to destructive out of control binging if I eat some sweets but having seen the benefits I know that getting back on the wagon pays off.

My visit to the urologist years ago on a wellness visit, ( I have private health insurance, because I came to live in spain from the UK), he said my prodtate was enlarged. At that time, I had no symtoms of nocturia, or bladder issues. He said not to worry, if my urine flow changed, he could give me tablets to improve it. Not good enough for me, I read up on the symptoms and cures, Turps......forget it. I went in a regime of natural cures, Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin seeds, and anything that may help. It's probably 8 years or so, I'm still going 7/8 hours at night without a bathroom break, and sometimes 5 hours in the day. I take SW tablets, Pumlkin seeds on my cereal, the seed oil as a supplement daily, and a host of supplements for immune and anti inflammatory. Best of luck everyone, btw I'll be 71yo soon.

I had almost all of the symptoms mentioned. I was getting up 6-7 times a night and had a few close calls. My urologist is a family friend and he recommended that I do a Rezum procedure. I looked into that and didn’t feel it was for me. I did my own research and found the PAE procedure. I had the procedure done in November and am quite satisfied. I get up 1-2 a night and have free flow. I suggest you look into this procedure

So one month ago I had the green light procedure. Two days ago was my follow-up appt. I told the doctor I was still dribbling, still peeing 3x a night, light blood in urine, burning when I pee, plus at times a double stream which now makes me have to sit down and pee so not to miss the toilet. Going back to my first appt, he told me my prostrate was small. A few years back with another doctor that one told me hid finger was too small to reach it. And another told me the same that it was small. So with the dripping issue continuing I decided to take the current urologist word for the green light. I watched KZbin videos on how it's done. At this point my urologist told me last week it's normal to still see blood. It's normal for the burning sensation, and that the problem im having is because I don't drink enough water. ( I hate water,) He wants me to drink 8 glasses a day and let him know in a month how it's going. He also said he may have to put me on steroids. WHAT!! I wish I never had it done.

Everything you stated tracks with my retention issue. Took 14 months of Drs guessing and me suffering through antibiotics and pissing like it was tobacco sauce. Then a diligent urologist did all the right things. Scoped, the biopsy of bladder. Prostrate is 70-90, but with avoiding alcohol, tapering off fluids past 6 pm and limiting caffeine I’m definitely heading toward success. Exercise like I used to and more focus on raw veggies n less dairy is about all I needed to change in diet. Also, working on liver function has been huge for me. This has calmed my digestive system down, naturally trimmed the waist and lessened the demand on the bladder. Dandelion root extract, lots of lemon (whole thing, not just juice) and selenium and ZINC. Dr Berg says research indicates that over half of all men who suffer prostrate issues are short of Zinc! Will keep following

ThX Dr. Eric for this informative, crucial Video. I'm 73 , retired for 3 years, and long time sufferer of BPH with many bouts of Incontinence and a dribbler. I have always been a dribbler since I can remember! I would like to add another possible ingredient contributing to this Male Issue.....Spinal Maladies - so Often Overlooked. Lumbar Stenosis, Disc Bulges, L5-S1 Spondylioesthesis, L2 & L3 Disc bulges intioio the front and the rear , advanced Degenerative Disc Disease and Dextroscoliosis - all Impacting various NERVES in the body. Aside from the Terrible Stiffness of Spinal Arthritis (Head to Toe) lining the Vertebrae and facet Joints, these Conditions are affecting the Nerves in the Body. Here's another point, years ago a Urologist told me that Your Sinuses ARE Connected to your Bladder. Taking Decongestants CAN affect the Bladder - it does me. If I take them, it stops the Incontinenence and makes it Harder to Pee.!!

Great video. I can attest to everything you have in here, doctor, as helping with my BPH (60cc sized prostate). I had pretty bad symptoms this late summer. Had a PSA show at 7.1. They wanted to go in with a roto-rooter, but I was not so fast to accept. So, I researched and then went on plant based diet (80% organic), with salmon and sardines a few times a week, supplements (lycopene, green tea extract, pomegranate extract, pumpkin seed oil, saw palmetto, pumpkin seeds, graviola, grapeseed extract, and a few more). I have always worked out (even more than recommended here) but have not been doing kegels or pelvic stretches and will start doing them pronto. Anyway after three months of this regimen I had another PSA and it came in at 2.7. It blew my urologists mind! I still have some symptoms (not great flow) but the symptoms are 70-80% better now. I will continue to go down this road. I don't drink alcohol and I eat no sugar (I say that, but may get a couple of grams of hidden sugar a day but very little). I don't do any dairy anymore which is a bummer but may have made the biggest difference along with the no-sugar. I drink two cups of coffee a day, one caffeinated, one half-caffeinated. Lots of great veggies, legumes, whole grains (other than rice which has too arsenic if eaten all the time -- quinoa, farro, and buckwheat are good alternatives). A great guidline is to include upward toward 30 different plant based foods every week. That's a lot! And I only eat sprouted organic bread when I eat it. It all has helped a lot. I am always fine tuning the diet. I am nearly 73 and seem to be doing well over all. But nothing is promised. I think playing the percentages (healthy lifestyle) just makes good sense. Cheers!

No more waking up to pee at night, urine stream a lot better but can still improve. Avoid stress, you can have instant effect on your prostate in a bad way. I avoid dairy [unfortunatelly] and avoid eggs too, but lately introduced a few eggs back a week. It seems ok, I guess we will see. I take saw palmetto, vit d3, vit k2, zinc and magnesium. Btw your kegel exercise video is excellent. Added kegels at the end of the out breath. Seated chair meditation. 20 - 30 min meditation sessions. Couple of things: I drink lots of water, and I noticed it's easier to hold the bladder. Its only been 9, 10 days of kegeling but I meditate mornings and evenings (20 - 30mins) so thats a lot of kegels. I can definitely feel my pelvic floor muscles getting stronger. Out of curiosity I wanted to check my EQ and rubbed one out. It was 10:00. Its usually 9:00. I will be this doing for the rest of my life and pass this knowledge to others. Gentlemens Agreement

@@whydotheathensrage well try the roasted ground chicory root and roasted ground dandelion root mix , you wont regret it. It has a flavour that to me seems so similar to an espresso flavoured coffee , be it just naturally a sweeter flavour. Meaning that people who don't usually have any sugar in their coffee might end up to see it as being slightly sweet tasting to the taste, quite naturally, without them even adding in any sugar If you cannot source any of it from your local sources, it can always be found for sale on ebay You make it in a percolator just the same as the ones like the ground coffee beans are percolated in. But go easy on the amount of grinds you'll use, as it comes out fairly strong flavoured without the need to use a whole lot of grinds. Which therefore helps to make it quite inexpensive too its certainly been helpful for me to stop the problem i was having before where the coffee addiction was irritating the prostate problems . Plus the medicinal qualities of this blend of grinds is evidently also good for the liver health as well Best wishes friend, and happy new year to you as well too

I'm taking small willow flower and a prostate supplement with 4 different B vitamins. I water only fast 3 days per month . When I do 3 to 5 day fasts my blader empties no problem, so I know I'm getting closer now. Caffeine was making it 3 times worse. Getting off of the energy drinks and 2 pots of coffee was huge. I eat organic non gmo. Loads of veggies and reasonable meat consumption. It took me 3 years to get to where I barely spot . I do have times I get big spots, but I'm not soaking my underwear any more after I pull up or leave the bathroom. That freaked me out enough to change everything.

What about intermittent fasting? I do 18-20 hours, but I vary the cycles. I've eliminated sugar. I use Stevia; I've heard that Allulose is better. NO more soda! I do kegel exercise, but probably could do better with it. I'll look at your links. Achohol: red wine, probably once every two weeks. One or two coffees a day, one with 1T. MCT oil. The double-void sounds interesting, I think I do it, but unwittingly, only once in a while, and I can't always do it. Lately, lycopene was recommended. I'm trying to find a tomato sauce that is natural, lectin-free and sugar-free. I cycle regularly. I eat a fair amount of meat, and I consume grass-fed and FINISHED beef, and only pasture-raised chicken and eggs. I'm consuming more fish, wild-caught, and either salmon or small (sardines) fish. Presently I'm trying "Prosta-Thrive", which has: 350 mg. pumpkin seed extract, 250 mg. "AGEprost"... an exclusive formula (so, I don't know the content), 130 mg. beta-sitosterol, 120 mg. stinging nettle extract, 100 mg. pygeum africanum, and 15 mg. lycopene in crystal form. This last supplement is the fourth one I've tried...I THINK it's working, slightly. I eat a variety of vegetables, more than fruit: blueberries, occasional apples. Gentlemen's agreement!
@paulferrante5192Ай бұрын
@kraka2onainer You must spend a small fortune on all those supplements. I would like to do that, but the average "Joe", like me just doesn't have the financial means to do it... THEN you say, at least for the last supplement, " I THINK it's working, slightly".... hope all the rest of what supplements ur taking are working for u. However, most are probably just passing out through ur body from the research I've read about... I am a moderate supplement taker also - not nearly as expansive as u, and I feel they do help somewhat, but worry about all the hype which is made about most and not thoroughly clinically tested. I do think ur choices of whole natural foods are excellent !!

Gentleman's agreement. I found that using a slant board also helped a lot in reversing the inflammatory issue in the pelvic region. 5/10 min per day and doing a few sit ups also.

Gentlemen’s Agreement. Thanks for the information. I wished I had known this years ago. I’ve had a green light laser and a euro lift and I still have these problems.😞

Gentlemen's Agreement. Amazingly, I did all these pieces over the past two years. Slowly working through each phase. I was able to drop over 200 lbs. My urination stream at 49 is like I was 25 again. While I was on cialias for BPH 5 mg daily my emission was a dribble, doing the kegles and sugar elimination my emissions are like I was 30 again. I didn't know about these suggestions until this video, and I am nearly as healthy as I was in my mid20s and early 30s. In 2022 prostate was enlarged and in May of 2025 I'm getting it remeasured.

Cutting sugar is the hardest thing for me. I any keeping a food journal and it helps a lot. I will put something back because I don’t want to write down that I ate it.

Gentlemen’s agreement. I had major issues causing me to urinate frequently. After watching your video recommending to do 3 stretches I started doing them 4 times a week, let’s just say it felt like I got my life back. I would say after a week I was going 2/3rds less than before. I’ve sent that video to so many people even a total stranger that I ran into at the grocery store. Thank you so much for your videos 🙏🏾

Just had my follow up with the urologist and my prostate only shrank a little after the surgery this past June as well as taking meds before that! 😮 They took lots of blood and said there was still microscopic blood in the urine! 😮😮

Sometimes the non trained in a medical profession can get as good or better results than the professionals. I only hope you don't get stopped. It could be tricky as their training seems to give them immunity if they get something wrong but no immunity for a non trained. I hope you keep getting success.

I have had a prostate problem for 8 years and seems to coincide to when I fell over a waterfall and damaged my sacriolic joint. My friends all drink more than me and eat more junk food, yet they don’t have a prostate problem. I think there is a lot more to this.

Does natural sugars (e.g. fruit and cold pressed juices) contribute to symptoms? I eat a lot of fruit smoothies using coconut water as the liquid and incorporate dates as a sweetener. I also drink cold pressed juices. Any correlation to the symptoms?

what do you make of Dr Barbara oNeils idea of regular ejaculation as a preventative therapy against prostate problems?
@89147108 күн бұрын
Are you sure that was Barbara O'Neil? Do a proper check because they are doing a lot of impersonating of her.

Im going to try all of these recommendations. I currently take tamsulosin and still struggle to hold a reletively small amount of urine - particularly in cold weather. Before BPH I was diagnosed with Peyrones disease and wondered if any connection has been established if inflammation is the cause. I' ll have a look through your other videos. Thank you
