I absolutely loved you guys, Iraq and this video. I used to live in Jordan when I was a little girl and my dad would always travel all over the Middle East. I remember when he came back from Iraq years ago he brought us back the best elman wa salwa dessert which is a nougat with pistachios and cardamom. You guys will have to try it on your next trip some day. This has been the most entertaining and enjoyable video I've seen in a long time. I'm fan now and I can't wait to see your next trip to Afganistan. Stay safe and God bless.

I served 2 tours in Iraq and I thought the country was beautiful, even though we were not 100% safe while we were there. I had the oppportunity to get to know a few iraqis fairly well the first time I was there. I always found the people to be very humble, polite, and friendly. Would love an opportunity to travel there under better circumstances someday.

The Kurds are really awesome people and deserve their own state. Those people whose portraits are hung up there are genuine martyrs! The only word of caution is for those who have weak stomachs. I personally had no issues, but some of my fellow soldiers got sick. Everyone did state that eating the wonderful food was worth getting sick over.
