In this specific series, Alternate Future of Your World, Kyiv Mapping and his fans, making comments in each episode, make the series together. drew, if you’d like, there are many more videos of this genre, and my suggestion is for you to watch Gauche by Frkon. to me and to many it is one of the best mapping series of all time, and it has some more complexity behind it which i think is really good and really hard to do (since your basically telling a full story with just countries). would definitely recommend, and glad to see you’ve finally discovered (at least a small bit) of the mapping community!

I never knew the day that Drew would actually start watching mapping. Again like others said there are two sides to mapping. The coubtryballs side which is more light hearted and you have seen in Kyiv’s and the more plot developed ones that are more dark and without CBs (aka the edge/most popular genre). Highly suggest to view both of them.

I highly recommend korean mapping’s pax americana/brittanica nova series. Set in the 22nd century, America and then Britain tried to maintain global peace in the face of high global tensions, broken relationships, etc. 10/10 a great series.

Only real issue with this and a lot of future/scifi stuff is that we know all the elements up to 118. We aren't going to find a new element unless its a completly different kind of matter. That means it would have to be a new compound, not element. And if it's a compound we'd likely be able to synthesize it soon enough after getting a few samples so it would really just depend on how much did they find occurring naturally, where else can it be found, and how easily can it be made.
