Like in Korea siblings will often share a syllable like Eun-woo and Jeong-woo or Chae-yeon, Chae-ryeong, and Chae-min or Hyo-rin and Ha-rin. These are all real siblings and such similar names are super common. I guess in Korea it’s normal to have similar names to siblings so people don’t see it as a bad thing if their sibling’s name is similar. I’d just think it must be confusing when you call one of your kids and all 3 come running because the names are easily misheard.
