I love this video! Well I love all of your videos 😊. This hit home because I noticed my blood pressure have been slightly high for the last month. I have appointment to see my doctor. But in the meantime I want to get it under control before seeing him because I DO NOT want to get on medication. And I know most likely that will be the first thing he suggests. 😢. I try a remedy from one of your previous videos. Drinking beet juice. I am so amazed by the results every since I’ve been drinking it my blood pressure has been normalized. But I don’t want to over drink because I was told that it also could cause kidney stones. But again I will discuss all of this with my doctor. Thanks Dr. Frita for all of you advice.

I have done all of these exercises including boxing, swimming. I never thought I would like boxing until one of my trainers introduced me to it a few years back. I have fallen off the bandwagon with the mindfulness exercises. This video will serve as a reminder to go back to practicing them again on a regular basis as they are very calming. I love to exercise so it's hard for me to decide which one I like the best.

What scares me is, when i walk around, my blood pressure goes up. So how do you exercise knowing your blood pressure will rise? Isnt it dangerous?
@IamParalegal11 күн бұрын
Have you eliminated all extra sodium and sugar, taking your meds, eliminated caffeine, and staying hydrated? That will help tremendously. No processed meats, chips, cheese, crackers, fast foods, no added sugars or sweeteners (except pure, natural sweeteners). Caffeine, especially in chocolate and cacao, elevates my bp super high.
@DrFrita11 күн бұрын
It’s totally understandable to feel concerned when your blood pressure rises during exercise. It's normal for blood pressure to increase temporarily with activity, but over time, regular exercise can help lower it overall. Always consult with your doctor about what's safe for you personally. Stay informed and take it step by step!

When i stand after sitting mine goes up. Though out the day our blood pressure goes up and down for a variety of reasons. But movement helps the body with circulation. In exercise the key is graduation and moderation. I learned by listening to my body i can work up to running at a steady speed improved my health. However i did start running on day one. Each day i did a little more and some days less. Only you know what will work for you. Listen to your body. I learned to stand up slowly. I learned to take small walks at a slow pace. Each time I would move a little bit faster. I do circuits. Small reparations. Before i get out of bed i do leg lifts. Do what you can and improve on that movement each day. I sometimes have to go back to one but I always try to do more. Challenge yourself but forgive yourself dont stress over it. Certain vitamin deficiency can cause blood pressure issues. Thyroid issues can cause blood pressure issues. It is not always about food. However we do have diet of over processed foods and too much salt sugar and protein. Because food manufacturers dont care about anything but their bottom line. Our health is not on the list of their concerns. Meat producers have brought the FDA and it tells us we need all this protein that we don’t necessarily need unless you are a professional athlete or work busting rocks for a job. Most sedentary people can get their needed nutrients from plants and small amount of flesh. MD know a lot but only you know you. Listen to you body that requires being still be quiet relaxed and deep breathing. Talk to your body each part it will talk back and let you know. But you have to listen and learn. These exercises are great thank you❤
