I appreciated the explanation. I think Caitlin's surgeon did a pretty nice job (imho). The most noticeable difference is in Caitlin's jaw bone, which now looks more feminine, and also the eyebrow lift. Plus, if you have ever watched the videos of Caitlin without any make-up in the morning (Whoaza!) it helps so much that Caitlin has a make-up artist at her disposal. I say this because without Caitlin's TONS of make-up on her face, she still looks so much like Bruce (sorry to say). Therefore, the hair and make-up on Caitlin really help for her to achieve that 'more feminine look'.

I wish Caitlyn would get vocal chord surgery to raise her voice pitch. Caitlyn was starting transition before marrying the Kardashians mom. She put it on pause, even had her breasts surgically made smaller, as they had grown because of estrogen supplements. Ms. Jenner definitely looks like a woman but when she speaks it's her man voice. How can that be changed?
@perfectkarma12092 жыл бұрын
I don't think it can be because she is way past puberty. That's part of the reason some younger trans patients get parents to sign off on hormones before puberty is well underway since that is when the voice is changing.
@johanna26902 жыл бұрын
You can do voice training and/or operate the vocal cords. But often times the surgery doesn't show the results people have hoped for.
@johanna26902 жыл бұрын
This is also a problem for detransitoners. Women who think they are trans men take testosterone. They deepen their voice permanently. A lot of hormonal changes are reversible (muscle/ fat destribution). But once the voice got deep it stays deep even if the women stop taking testosteron.
@judywilson39532 жыл бұрын
