What I will have to correct this video on is that the Spectre tells Darkseid that his role in the universe is to be opposite of Superman. But when Darkseid found out his role in the universe as the opposite to the embodiment of hope, he lets the Spectre go and essentially dies. Darkseid is then reborn into a brand new universe (Absolute Universe) where he controls it as God. And Darkseid states that now he is not bound to the laws of the universe. No longer has any relations to Superman, nothing. This is not me downplaying, this is what's written on the page. So I don't think the comic tells you that Superman is going to 'break powerscaling' or something like that. But the premise of it is that Darkseid is no longer bound to his old role in the DC Universe and is not bounded to anyone or anything.

@@melvingenao550 You got Superman's purpose wrong. In Doomsday Clock, Dr Manhattan was trying to figure out why Superman exists in metaverse. And he came to the realization that the concept of hope is one of the core elements of the Multiverse. And that every universe has to have a beacon of hope (Superman). If there's no beacon of hope, then that universe is doomed to die. Superman is the symbol of hope, but that does not mean he's an unlikable god. It means he's an extremely important figure in the universe. Which is why Superman has been training his son and raising the Super-Family to be the beacons of hope in the universe, in case if he does die someday. Clark explains this to his son in Infinite Frontier

What's even crazier is the fact that Darkseid was amped with the Spector, after taking out Eclipso... He was verbatim stated to be at his "strongest" and the fact that base Superman was able to kill him alone is a crazy feat that gets completely overlooked because Darkseid knew he could count on Supes to "end" him truly and for it to be "final". He then goes on to become something even beyond that level of power, something akin to the source and Superman scales to this. I guess what I'm saying is, Darkseid at his strongest with the Spector amping him got mid diff'd by Superman. That on its own is a crazy feat, and Darkseid treats that level of power as an insignificant burden. By the way, he even pulled up on the Hell Lords in their own realm and he also pulled up to Heaven and fought arch angels. Basically, he ran an outerversal gauntlet before the Spector amp, and Superman basically ended him in one clean punch. Supes and Darkseid are looking like top 5 in DC right now and that's insane. Im huge into powerscaling and a halfway decent writer. Ive been doing my damndest in powerscaling research to create the most op mfrs in fiction. Ive come up with something along the lines of all encompassing omnipotence and omniscience within whatever hyperverse they've slipped into for study. They can hold irrational numbers within physical constructs of their own energy. All of that only being a mere sliver of what they are. The manifestation of the consciousness of all living things within a hyperverse given its own ID. I swear nothing will be stronger than them in fiction.

I still don't buy this 'cause it literally contradicts Decades of writing. Perpetua was just over Darkseid. Darkseid had Highfather as his equal. Darkseid couldn't break through the Source Wall.
