Great video!!!! IMO TF Pennywise will have a very very very hard time trying to destroy/erase Superman. The concept of HOPE is almost unbeatable - a concept that could transcend almost anything. If Superman could in deed beat Penny, it would be extremely extremely at high diff - it would take every ounce of HOPE to temporarily defeat Penny, but rest assure Penny will def come back at a later time. Clark's biggest weakness in the fight is he can't complete the ritual. He is so aligned to hope that I think he can't bring himself to insult Pennywise. At the same token, I think Pennywise can't employ fear to its biggest advantage. Even if he triggers Injustice Superman and causes a mental break, fear will only create determination. Pennywise kills hope but only if that hope can get crushed by fear. Superman just doesn't react to fear like everyone else. You push him, he finds a way. Stephen King has the scale there's always something bigger than you, badder than you. Superman is Pennywise's bigger fish. Superman doesn't falter. "Those children didn't give up Pennywise, even when they felt despair. Even when it came time to do it again as adults. I've seen tougher even when I felt my weakest, but I've also seen what you can do. I once told a man that I live in a world of cardboard, it's time you also see what I really can do!" If he can hit that speech it's all over. Superman wins: Probably the biggest difficulty he's ever had. Clark's whole concept is as long as there is a single ray of hope, there is always a way. That is what spells Pennywise's undoing. And all of this is why I think Lobo would win, Low Difficulty. Because Lobo would regard Pennywise as playtime, has Superman level powers, and could perform the ritual of Chuud. He also wouldn't fear Pennywise, aint his style, and he's immortal. There will be no floating. Plus if he still has his green lantern ring I don't see the clown reacting well to being beaten down by a giant floating s*x toy.

I actually completely disagree with this one. I understand the reasoning, but.. superman in dc is hope, but pennywise from darktower, literally devours concepts and far outscales them. I do not see superman being hope being a hard counter, pennywise is also vastly above narratives, and supermans hope narrative in dc may have that scaling to reach overvoid, but pennywise vastly transcends the void the darktower even resides in. I dont think pennywise would be unfamiliar with the cocnept of hope either because what are children but pure hope and imagination. he is familiar with it already. I see no actual way for superman to beat him and I dont think its fair to use supermans narrative scaling and not bring into account pennywise literal narrative transcendences. Remember just like superman's author, Pennywise's author has literally created pure archetypal beings and entire narrative multiverses, just to try and stave off penny. I honestly think that penny s an extreme hard counter to superman not the other way around. One of them embodies a concept, while the other, literally devours and feeds on concepts and is literally and narratively beyond them. I definately dont think hope is a simple concept, but we are talking about extreme high outerversal stuff, and in both verses concepts are very potent, however both verses when brought to their extreme with these two characters, will have to be relying on their capabilities, and supermans greatest capability stems from him being the embodiment of a concept, one that would also reside within the dark tower. I just feel that while someone can argue for superman being an extreme powerhouse it comes down to what they are, which is how its framed in the vid. hope vs a being who exists beyond all concepts and devours them. In your vid , you also agree that penny is likely still an entire cosmological teir higher, which i agree with. but their functions in both vs when it comes down to it, will dictate the outcome. I think penny is the perfect hard counter for someone like superman. so he outscales him in hacks as a result, hope devourer vs hope. I dont see a functional way of superman beating true form penny. You also lack brain cells to understand what the flaw even is. The flaw is ALL story. Not SoS. ALL story. It says it the first time CAS is even shown and Grant Morrison himself even says it in countless interviews lmao. Base Superman is also part of that flaw. The cosmic armor is the flaw (all story) piloted by the story of Superman. Which is why Dax Novu’s wife went down into fiction to recruit him. Grant Morrison states it’s the equivalent of a real life Angel flying into a comic book to recruit Superman since his story is the most powerful. Hence the CAS downplay. Go back and reread the comic and learn the context before commenting.

It could be more like a science experiment type of understanding. I'm not certain either but just saying Superman wins when TF is above concepts or was seems questionable to me. You have to apply the NLF to Pennywise's "invincibility" to concepts due to the simple fact that Superman comes from a Universe that is arguably cosmologically superior to Stephen King's Verse as there is a present Omnipotent Being who has chosen Superman to be his greatest Champion of Hope. Pennywise is more independent and therefore weaker, to put that in perspective to DC, Pennywise would be akin to Doomsday in DC who is ultimately lesser than Darkseid who is the Antithesis of Superman.
